This man’s ability to motivate and make players give it their all is astonishing. He makes average players world class and he won many big matches with average players. If today’s United had Sir Alex they would be the best English team.
He's like a father i was in tears when he lifted the premier league title back in 2013 i still miss his appearance on the dug out we all know in football you don't have to play great to win a game but belief and hope is what sir alex put it into everyone and that is why he's such a great man

As a Barça fan i had always a great respect for that man. Fergui is like Cruyff for us, he put the ManU to the top. ManU deserved so much the glory times of the 90's and the first decade of the 2000 till the munchen disaster.

I really hated Alex Ferguson because he was the manager of a rival team but i have so much admiration for him now. You look at the united team now and they may be talented but they don't have the qualities he has just talked about, drive, determination, working hard etc.

I don't mind the new manager and believe we can win trophies again however the golden era came to end when this man departed. The football and last minute goals and even the players which also understood the fans more than the new generation of players.
even as an Arsenal supporter the premier league is poorer for not having Sir Alex still at United. i think he's the best manager ever, certainly in the prem if not worldwide. no-one will stay at a club for 27 years ever again and have so much continued success. he was a complete one-off.

I just watched this for the first time two weeks ago and now there's this news about him being in critical condition... Everything went to shits after 2012, both life and football vise. I know it's the circle of life, but I refuse to accept it cause it's the boss.. He's like every United's supporter grandfather/father figure. My grandfather suffered a stroke in 2015 and died a week after and now it's as if I'm reliving it again. He's not even that much old ffs
