    good luck dude. Thanks for walking us through it. Even though it wasn't catchin' fish, I enjoyed you breakin' down day 1 on the big motor. I'm pretty confident that's a big miss on my end.

      @BassGeek  7 років тому +1

      I try may best the first day to really look a lake over. It's hard to do because you see a spots that look good and you want to pick a rod up immediately Most of the time it's best to fish lest and look more the first time your on a lake.

      @BassGeek  7 років тому +2

      Thanks I don't ever feel like I put enough info in these video's them they come out 20min long. hahaha It's hard to balance the entertainment and the information. lol Thanks Benjamin for checking me out man means a lot that you do.

    • @brnowak_fishing
      @brnowak_fishing 7 років тому +1

      I always worry the same thing, I think it's interesting though because there are lots of little tidbits of information that if guys are solely watching for entertainment value, they tend to overlook. Great video man!

    • @BassGeek
      @BassGeek  7 років тому

      Yeah that's why I try to always show the catch from cast to catch. I know it makes the video longer and to some maybe dull. When I watch a video I'm looking at the rod tip and hands. I wan't to know how they are working the bait.

    In a pinch you can "jump" the solenoid with a screwdriver to make the motor turn over. Good video, I left a like*

    Which lake do you prefer for winter smallies: South Holston or Cherokee?

    • @BassGeek
      @BassGeek  7 років тому

      Cherokee will be numbers and much easier to catch. Just stay on the lower end. South Holston is the size and is much tougher on average. Thanks man. If you are coming down here think about Dale Hollow. Numbers and Size.

    • @BassGeek
      @BassGeek  7 років тому

      In the winter. Now during the spring win this video was made SOHO all day long. Not counting DH.

    Its crazy how you can break down these giant reservoirs like that. I would neve be able to do that

    • @OrilliaFishing
      @OrilliaFishing 7 років тому +1

      I feel the same. I've seen other videos where folks just pick a section and go graph it and then pick the next section and do the same. I'm not sure how BassGeek did it but I think that'd be my plan too.

    • @BassGeek
      @BassGeek  7 років тому +1

      hahaha it don't always work out the way you want. The first day was very tough. I love to throw a swimbait for deep schoolers and they were in every area I fished but they just would not bite. Me and Tim found the same thing when we practiced together. We never could get them to bite. The bedders where the bitters the staggers only had love on the mind. hahaha The fun part is breaking down a lake. Tim was a big help. He knows that lake well and learning some of the stuff he taught me will help me on breakdown other lakes and find'em on this lake in the future no matter what they are doing.
