good luck dude. Thanks for walking us through it. Even though it wasn't catchin' fish, I enjoyed you breakin' down day 1 on the big motor. I'm pretty confident that's a big miss on my end.
I try may best the first day to really look a lake over. It's hard to do because you see a spots that look good and you want to pick a rod up immediately Most of the time it's best to fish lest and look more the first time your on a lake.
Thanks I don't ever feel like I put enough info in these video's them they come out 20min long. hahaha It's hard to balance the entertainment and the information. lol Thanks Benjamin for checking me out man means a lot that you do.
I always worry the same thing, I think it's interesting though because there are lots of little tidbits of information that if guys are solely watching for entertainment value, they tend to overlook. Great video man!
Yeah that's why I try to always show the catch from cast to catch. I know it makes the video longer and to some maybe dull. When I watch a video I'm looking at the rod tip and hands. I wan't to know how they are working the bait.
Cherokee will be numbers and much easier to catch. Just stay on the lower end. South Holston is the size and is much tougher on average. Thanks man. If you are coming down here think about Dale Hollow. Numbers and Size.
I feel the same. I've seen other videos where folks just pick a section and go graph it and then pick the next section and do the same. I'm not sure how BassGeek did it but I think that'd be my plan too.
hahaha it don't always work out the way you want. The first day was very tough. I love to throw a swimbait for deep schoolers and they were in every area I fished but they just would not bite. Me and Tim found the same thing when we practiced together. We never could get them to bite. The bedders where the bitters the staggers only had love on the mind. hahaha The fun part is breaking down a lake. Tim was a big help. He knows that lake well and learning some of the stuff he taught me will help me on breakdown other lakes and find'em on this lake in the future no matter what they are doing.
hey hank was he driving your boat on day 4 practice ?......i noticed he was workin with a Humminbird i think while you all were crossing lake i think.......my Question was is that a Humminbird Helix 9 si on the helm and a DI on bow and are they networked. Thx God bless
No it was his boat mine is nowhere near that nice and those are the Lowrance HDS Gen3 12's on his boat. Hes got the big boys. I'm slowing refurbishing mine. I've got carpet and seats I just haven't put it in yet because the fishing is to good. hahaha I plan on doing it this Summer.
great video buddy and awesome fish i love your graph i want a helix ill have one soon and water looked extreme rough on the first day what kind of power stick do you use for you camera ???
YOU SEEM LIKE A DOWN TO EARTH KIND OF GUY - UNLIKE MOST OF THESE GUYS - NOSE IN THE AIR - I'M BETTER THAN YOU -I HAVE A BIGGER BOAT - MORE RODS & REELS ATTITUDE -WILL CONTINUE WATCHING YOU !!!!
Roy Roth thanks and I suck. Lol I’m just learning and sharing what I learn as I learn it. Hahaha I’m no pro Heck I’m barely a tournament angler hahaha. But I try and I want to teach people the things no one wanted to answer for me when I was reeeeeeally just a rookie.

Which lake do you prefer for winter smallies: South Holston or Cherokee?
Cherokee will be numbers and much easier to catch. Just stay on the lower end. South Holston is the size and is much tougher on average. Thanks man. If you are coming down here think about Dale Hollow. Numbers and Size.
In the winter. Now during the spring win this video was made SOHO all day long. Not counting DH.
BassGeek my best friend lives on Boone, so I try to get down there occasionally.
BassGeek I have fished DH a couple times.
That's cool. Boone is a good little lake to some. It hates me however. hahhaa
Its crazy how you can break down these giant reservoirs like that. I would neve be able to do that
I feel the same. I've seen other videos where folks just pick a section and go graph it and then pick the next section and do the same. I'm not sure how BassGeek did it but I think that'd be my plan too.

What's the size limit
Terry Doner It depends on the lake. On this Lake Largemouth and spots are 12in and smallmouth are 15in
