The guy who gets "thrown up" in a line ought is usually a Lock Forward. They tend to be some way over 6' 6" and 250-280lbs..

Run, tackle, pass & every player is allowed to kick the ball

You get penalized for tackling too high, so generally there's less concussions because the players are pretty much just shooting double legs like wrestlers.

Yes, look at the american football tackle you edited in. No human being will ever do that with their head exposed. It's more of an instinct thing. You don't normally run your head into a wall on purpose. When going to tackle in rugby you don't use your head as a point of impact or you'll knock yourself out a lot of the time. Seems pretty basic I guess, but there is also the fact that they have been playing since they were young kids and have learned the way to tackle another man when you're both wearing no protection. Of course, they don't think of it that way because the idea of wearing protective gear like a helmet is totally alien to them.

This is yawnion an American tag, when they get exposed to League.

Of course league is much more interesting. 26 blokes walk onto a field, form up in 2 lines and take turns running into each other. And then there is 80 minutes of the yawn fest that is the rugby league 5 step. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, kick, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, kick.
