I went in this show was amazing. They return to Rio in the same place 04/2023 this year and the performance of Hoodoo Gurus was same after 26 years, they are fantastic. The best rock Band ever!!!!!!
Hey, STV, that's me doin' the lights and I reckon I gave that safari suit to Faulkner. One of my last tours ever..... Man, do I feel old. Gudinski died yesterday. Australian rock mourns. Any Mushroom artists in your vault? Cheers, and thanks for the memory. Ola!
Oh you lucky fella working for and with the Gurus. Really great band, one of my all time favs. Shame about Gudinski, I read about it on the Gurus FB page. I do have a fair amount of Mushroom records artists on video, Skyhooks etc, Angels, Paul Kelly, Billy Thorpe, also got stuff from White Label, such as Hunters & Collectors, Painters & Dockers and my favs, The Stems. So now that you have prompted me, I will try and dig some goodies out. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Paul.
@@ScottishTeeVee Stems? Yes, please. Dom Mariani would be a legend if he was born on the East coast. Very under appreciated and very, very hard to find. I hear a lot of stuff was broadcast but never kept. Another example is Mark of Cain. I spent a year watching the Scott brothers, and various drummers, go from woeful to wild as they worked on their craft at a dodgy residency in a rock bottom pub in Hindley Street. Bliss! I was at school with Paul Kelly, a good Jesuit and part of Adelaide's catholic mafia. Include Arnold Strahl in that pack. The only man I know of to share a writing credit with Jesus. Checkout his hit and Adelaide of the '70's below. Check out his grunge guitar in the intro The girl drumming is Claire Moore, Dave Graney's collaborator.... ua-cam.com/video/zUg8B1VA0Bs/v-deo.html
