Gotta say, I watched your video, it sparked me to bed my 6.5 cm. It cut my group size in half with its cheap flexible stock. Jb weld made it rock solid and snug. Also tweaked the ammo and trimmed my 2nd stage trigger spring down to 1.5 lbs. added weight and a brake plus a harmonic dampener. Anyone can improve a cheap rifle into sub MOA all day and even match quality. Scope is last but bushnell banner works fantastic for me and 100-300$ is all you need. Sub 1k competition shooting should be a legit mid caliber class. True resourcefulness and skill. Keep preaching and teaching. Thanks.
I filled that hollow buttstock with roofing gap filler. Also did the resin thing in the front of the stock, and it all works a treat. Quick tip: don’t put too much hardener in the resin. It makes the hardening process too quick, and it creates too much heat (chemical reaction). Smoking bubbling hot tacky fibreglass resin in a cheap plastic stock makes for interesting times to say the least.
I love Axis Rifles and have a lot of them. On the trigger you can just replace the trigger spring on a regular Axis with an Accu-Trigger spring and set it where you want it. They vary in tension and one can even purchase a spring made for a Varmint Rifle if they want to go super light. The kit you mention is not a bad option either. I do have a 270 I just bought that seems to have possible stock issues and need to work the bugs out of that but overall, most all my Axis and Axis II rifles shoot nice groups. I do prefer the Axis II trigger safety feature though. I like light triggers. My 270 is the rifle I just put an Axis II spring in and adjusted to 2 pounds. It was actually lighter, but I adjusted it to 2 pounds for hunting. I hunt out of a blind and it is safe to hunt with a lighter trigger pull from a blind. Nice video for the people with budget in mind. One does not need an expensive rifle to get good groups. I do have a few of those and they don't really group any better. They may be machined more and not needed any tweaking but that's it.
The cracking ur hearing is the glass breaking from the plastic u need to use a product that will adhear better 3m makes a product for smc and fiberglass repair love u channel
Torque is wrong. If your gun needs torque adjustments, the bedding is bad. Pillars and bedding together is a must. Once this is done properly and no weight from the barrel while the bedding sets, turning the gun upside down an hour after you set it in and loosen action screws and use elastic bands to hold the stock to the action so it cures stress free, then the torque will not have any affect on accuracy. This is if it is all bedded properly. Barrel crown touch up is always #1 on my list, then bedding and trigger work.
Thanks I've been having issues with my Patriot .308. Still trying to find the right ammo. 150 gr doesn't seem good but want to find some 162-168 gr and try it. It kickes like an Angry Mule. After 60 rounds at 100yds I get 2-3"groups. This is my first .308 so there is some of this being me as a shooter.

Miss your bow reviews haven't seen one in a long time
They just got to expensive. I usually put all my UA-cam revenue into product reviews but revenue is way down so I had to cut out the expensive reviews

Ground up tires in those cheap stock butts.
