@@drechselbedarfschulte how to adjust the tracking of the belts when you change belts. Changing to a thicker or thinner belt means you need to realign the tracking by adjusting the screw at the top left of the belt.

@@marcusfairly2688 I got this answer from sorby, hope it helps: Although there is tracking facility on the ProEdge the user should leave the machine factory set where possible
The width of the back plate (platen) allows for tolerance in the positioning of the belt, so when a thinner or thicker belt is fitted, the tracking should not need adjusting
If for any reason it is required the locking collar at the base of the handle on the top left hand side should be loosened with one of the included small metal bars while holding the handle in place with the second small metal bar
The tracking is adjusted by a very small movement in the handle and then locked into place using the locking collar

@@ks-allyouneedforwoodturning If this is what Sorby say, then they do not know what users actually experience when using the machine. Don't get me wrong, the Pro Edge is excellent, and Sorby customer service is also good (a bit patronising perhaps). However on the pro edge I received new the tracking was unset, and the first belt I fitted drifted to the right scratching the inside of the guard plate. I know of several other Pro Edges in use including our local club's. All of them require tracking adjustments if there is a significant difference in belt thickness. I also know of one machine, bought brand new, with tracking that was completely jammed and could not be adjusted. Maybe Sorby need to reaccess their opinion of the tracking.
