    most of the people in the comments have no culture and a boring idea that art needs to be realistic. Art is a concept, why are we taught in school that drawing realistic works makes us a great artist? Realism is boring and nothing new, these artists opened up doors too what defines art and works are fucking beautiful

      The accumulation of art and business in a society based on creating financial values on probable expectations.
      Expectations drawn from the science of economics.
      Which in turn is a huge construct of other sciences like Psychology, Mathmatics, Politics....
      It's fundamental laws and theories are changing at a retarded pace and often has to be based on retarded assumptions and simplifications to make shit work for every day capitalism.
      And then you combine that shit with art xD.
      tl:dr: shit's the real satire

    Just a response to those commenting on the value of the works. Part of the reason behind the high estimates is the perception of exclusivity. Wealthy people love the idea that something they perceive as valuable, beautiful and important is deemed worthless by the ignorant masses. The fact that commoners can't see past "the scribbling of a talentless child" makes the works all that more attractive.

  • @TheAstronomyDude

    So i just calculated that $450 million US today would be around 3.12 million Florins in 1500 (352,223 ounces troy of gold at 0.1125 ounces in each coin). That's about 20 times what the Medici banks held in deposit.

    • @henrylivingstone2800
      @henrylivingstone2800 3 роки тому

      😂😂😂 You didn’t take into account for inflation and the fact that florins have inherent worth to them being made of pure gold. Also you have to take into consideration the relative net worth to that contemporary economy. If the medicis accounted for 30% of the Florence economy than that would an they have an exponential net worth in comparison to a mere 450 million in a token economy 😂😂😂

    How can people say anything bad about this art style? This is for people who have been through a lot and have a distinct sense of sophistication and overall wisdom. It takes a person who feels immensely to create this style. I do realism when I'm more happy. I do abstract when I'm depressed. I'm a very depressed person. I can see the pain they've manifested into these rushed brush strokes and paint splatters. It's raw emotion. And not just natural human instinct, but also our most animal instincts. If you think this is a joke, I'm sorry but you're a joke. Go fall into a crowd you dont even understand.

      Looking at these colours through lenses, Internet, UA-cam, your monitor,
      gives you a basic idea that 'red and orange' were involved.
