Ah,come on man.Tidus is one of the best developed characters from FF.He begins the game as a silly teenager, and manages to become a grown man(a strong, and valiant one).He stand still and accept his fate at the end;happy for the chance to save Yuna.
I'll never forget my experience playing this game 15 years ago. I can't believe it's been that long and this song still moves me all the same. Brings tears from me. People that speak ill of video games and believe they are toys for children are so jaded. This game is as a piece of art is a masterpiece .
People judge video games like trash as soon as you mention them. They should open up their horizons because games like FF aren't some regular junk at all. They're beautiful art.
This song brings me great pain. Of letting go so quickly... Of close friends and moving on to life in a new circumstance... I never played the entire game but I know this theme back in the days of creating endless worlds and imagination upon a blank canvas... This song speaks so deeply to me and I'm sure to all of you.
My nine month's daughter passed away exactly two months ago. I can't still find a reason to go on... This song brings me to her, where I wish to be... This song, remind me, how sadness, can make you feel alive, even if I'm dead inside. I love you, til the end of time... Dad
Tidus and Yuna taught me that no matter how different your worlds, you can be friends, no matter how young you two are, you can be in love, that no matter your fate, you can still make friends to help you down the path, no matter your obstacles, you only need beat them, no matter your past, you can change your future, and most of all, they taught me that true friendship can be with anyone, even people you don't agree with. I love Final Fantasy. Every single one.
How did such a profound piece of my childhood grey in the wastes of memory? These strains have haunted the shadows of my recollection for so long I'd forgotten that they existed in any coherent form.
X was my first, and it is just very special to me. Thankfully they almost done with the HD versions for PS3, I never tire of there. Each FF has something special to offer, their like good books we keep rereading. Like I love the newer 13 & 13-2, I know 15 will have something that endears me to it as well. Always though Tidus & Luna's story be the most special to me.
the values final fantasy series taught me were so beautiful I felt enamored by the love it had displayed the struggles that had been overcome and even the acceptance of even the villains if you pick it a part . If people could look at the world like aeris did maybe the world would be an absolutely better place .
goosebumps every single time....i'm going to art school for Musical Theatre and i listen to alot of orchestral music and i also play alot of final fantasy...i own every one thats ever been released honest to god haha...this song just hits me sooo hard because 10 was the first one i played growing up and i remember how sad it was when i realized what was happening... Nobuo Uematsu is a genius for all eternity. and i absolutely love this piece
I love this game. I just finished it for the first time a few days ago. It was incredible. The end had me in tears... and this song, which played when Tidus had to leave, made it all the more heart breaking. When the screen said "The End", I sat there for probably 10 minutes just to listen to "To Zanarkand" play. When I finished it, I couldn't believe it was finally over. I have a strong desire to play it again... maybe I will sometime... truly incredible. A masterpiece.
Don't you feel like crying whenever you listen to this? It's just so beautiful. I swear to God, as soon as this semester of college is over I'm pulling out my PS2 and playing this game to relive every magnificent moment
To Zanarkand shows us that Ingame Music is WAY more important than graphics , ff13 has great graphics , but there is no Soundrack that can be compared to To Zanarkand
This is my favorite FF song of all time. It's so beautiful in a pool of just as beautiful music. I like it also because it has a striking resemblance to an old Newfoundland Folk song. She's like the Swallow. Look it up. It's pretty good.
If you think about it that scene it's really sad,both of them are actually feeling really unhappy,Tidus finding out about Sin true identity and Yuna doing her pilgrimage that would only end with her death.Also Yuna's frase "I've... learned how to smile... Even when I'm feeling sad."it's really important;
i.. i was always the looser.. i have lost my life my love and my path. Now i want to become a Dream a Person that never really existed. *sniff* i always wished i would die because of you but now i finally understood. Why i am alive. *hahh* do you know why? Because there is no reason for me to die. Life goes on with or without you. Life should be a Dream. You dream it 100 years and die. ♥ go on final Fantasy x live forever!
Yeah I thought the same.. but then I kinda realized why I'm here... It's to save animals! Animals are my passion! I want to save as many as I can! So I will continue to live! To save!
To me this game was more than just any ordinary game, even though COD and Killzone are like the latest thing and other FPS games. I find that these games truly touched me because of the emotional storyline and sacrifice the characters made. So I guess that even though that games such as FPS and other games like that are the new thing, I still appreciate these old games as well that really touch me.
Definitely one of the most heart connected, pathos enhancing theme songs out there.. one of the greatest games of its time, a true RPG icon and hard to surpass in its storytelling prowess, extended CGI's and SICK leveling up..
This brings back such great memories.Watching my older cousins playing FFX at our grandparents house during epic holiday sleepovers.FFX,Jak and Daxter,Jak 2,Grand Turismo,Tekken 3 & 4 plus more ahhh great times. XD
FFX was more than just a game... It was a story. It was the story of a young man who lost everything, and a young woman who was willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of the world. And yet, through their journey together, they both began to change. In the end, it was the young man who decided to sacrifice everything to protect those he had come to care for. This song... This is his story.
we share similar experience im glad you enjoyed them as much as i enjoyed mine. ffx ending with my cousins and brothers was the one of the best video game moments ive had.
True, my first FF was 8, it made me switch from nintendo to sony when I tried it at a friends house, loved that game to death for years. I then played 9, then rewound to 7, then 10, 10-2, and sadly lost interest after that. But FFX for me is still the most enthralling game of all time, I feel like I want to relive the days I played this game every time I hear music from it or think about it, I miss it incredibly. The vast story, character relationships, epic landmarks...OMFG I MUST PLAY AGAIN!!!
My favorite final fantasy was 8 but my favorite sound track is 10. Eight could have had a more emotional story but I believe after seven it was perfect with it's military style and I love everything about it. Ten's sound track is the best because you can feel so much from it the sacredness, the sadness, the hope, and the pain and it all meshes beautifully.
I started playing this when i was 8. Honestly, I dont really cry at anything but ffx made me cry and after i finished the game. I replayed it i think 5 times, and now that im 17 it listening to this gives nostalgic feeling
to be truthful I love the FF X soundtrack it had lovely music. I enjoy listening to the soundtrack often and its very soothing, sad, and lively. This goes to show just how lovely the To Zanarkand song was.
i love this song. this is my lovely ffx-song. it makes you sad, happy and thoughtful at at the same time. i would prefer to cry and smile at once when i hear this song. its so beautiful.
Would be pretty hard to pick a favorite out of his 3,320,134 masterpieces, but it's sure my favorite. That's one of the reasons I began composing music - to leave something behind that was created by me. Future great, great, great grandchildren can listen to it and hear to a little piece of me.
true masterpiece in the world of gaming. The story engulfs you and places you into their strange and mysterious only to tell you of terrible things happening to them. A powerful love story that leaves the player in tears. A story that can truly be called a masterpiece. Music as beautiful like this only helps the pure addiction this game gives you. This will forever be my favorite FF game and am definitely going to buy the HD remaster to play and live through it like the 1st time i played it.
I dont want to forget anything about the feelings this game give it to me.. but i like to play it again some times and feel even a little of that especial feeling..
I didn't cry... I was so sad I literally couldn't cry... This game is one of only three games to hit me emotionally... Final Fantasy X, MGS4, and the major tear jerker that made me cry so hard my ex-girlfriend thought I was in pain... Mother 3
Every time I hear that song i remember a time in my life where i wish i could go back ...Damn i have done so many things wrong ._. But at the same time I can forget what i did wrong and just think about the wonderful things i have lived
They're remaking this game and I'm so excited I'm about to blow up!!! I mean, honestly- who didn't think that, in the case of a remake, they'd redo FFVII? Not that I'm complaining, this is my favorite by far- best story, best music... But I'm so excited!!! X3 I love this song to pieces, I think I'd literally die of joy if we played this in our Concert Band...
this was the only game that made me sob in every sad scene and this song makes me want to cry. But, i still LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This music is beautiful and little heart aching sound. I love this music very much. Yuna and Tidus are also very beautiful in a beautiful love story. Tidus is always the brightest one and he always shines.
A group of people arrived at the entrance of zanerkand on a pilgrimage that they vow to finish... an end of evil in Spira. By the warmth of a campfire, weapons aside, all is silent knowing many entered zanarkand and even few came out. Recalling their adventures of happiness, pain and sorrow, no one spoke but in meeting of their eye they understood each other "yes i am willing to die just to see this quest through". Ending with a wisper to you "listen to my story... this maybe your last chance".
If I could have an hd remake of this and FF7, I don't think I'd ever play another videogame again. The story, music, and characters, only compliment the insane amount of immersion this series brings to the table. I wish I could go back in time, to when I first played this game..
How many people cried at this game? Or even if they didn't shed tears, wept on the inside? No game that touches people so utterly and deeply and honestly could be anything other extraordinary.
Every time I hear this song, I imagine the scene where Tidus first sees Yuna do a Sending, for some reason. That was just a beautiful scene and this is a beautiful song.
I remember when this song played as Tidus learned that Yuna would die if she used the final summoning. That was probably one of the most touching moments for me in that whole game.
*Leans back in chair, closes eyes, and slips into a world far away from the bullshit and fuckery that waits me when I get back*
+Shiz The Snorlax Magic of Music. Which is why I thoroughly enjoy the FF titles with Nobuo Uematsu's music. He is legendary.
I have the same feelings sometimes...
Same!!! I usually pull a few hits off my vape pen on a Friday night, but I’m with you in that I enjoy this immensely
Ah,come on man.Tidus is one of the best developed characters from FF.He begins the game as a silly teenager, and manages to become a grown man(a strong, and valiant one).He stand still and accept his fate at the end;happy for the chance to save Yuna.
Yes

People that speak ill of video games and believe they are toys for children are so jaded. This game is as a piece of art is a masterpiece .
it's not been 15 years, the game came out 2001.
Almost 15 years :)
And people say video games can't be art
People judge video games like trash as soon as you mention them. They should open up their horizons because games like FF aren't some regular junk at all. They're beautiful art.
This song brings me great pain. Of letting go so quickly... Of close friends and moving on to life in a new circumstance... I love you, til the end of time...
Dad
I'm so sorry
@@RyanJamesOfficial thanks. Maybe you know what I'm talking about...
@@RyanJamesOfficial My heart cries for you. If we didn't have such music, the tragedy of life might be too much to bear.
Sweet heart I'm so sorry for you. May your daughter always be with you as long as you hear this song in your heart.
close your eyes and listen to this song at a quite place. you will feel like you are floating away.
i know i felt it.
This made me totally lose it!! XD
@JC Denton rofl
@JC Denton spoken like the heartless tool who don't appreciate good music
FYI you're profile pic is 1000x gayer than their comment
@JC Denton I wouldn't call Deus Ex a good game
Not to mention Adam Jensen is way better than you, Denton
I grew up with final fantasy and I dont know if I'm the only one but especially this ost awakens different kind of emotions inside of me.
that's the point of Final Fantasy man ^@^
Sevi de um dude lol I feel the same exact way, it gives me tons of Nistaga
Adam Vale let’s just forget the plot holes in FF10 & 10-2. What even is Tidus?
same here
My wedding party and I walked down the aisle to this song at my wedding this past weekend. This game has such a special part of my heart.
This is literally the most beautiful song I've ever heard...
How did such a profound piece of my childhood grey in the wastes of memory? These strains have haunted the shadows of my recollection for so long I'd forgotten that they existed in any coherent form.
God the orchestra version sounds incredible!!!! O.O
I remember obsessing over this song when I played it years ago. Still evokes strong emotions to this day.
it makes me proud that im able to play this masterpiece on piano
I know it sounds selfish, BUT THIS IS MY STORY!
This game isn't just a game, it is a work of art, a brilliant story, a powerful sound track, and some of my fondest memories...
X was my first, and it is just very special to me. Thankfully they almost done with the HD versions for PS3, I never tire of there. This game was not only to my life as a gamer, it was a start for me to listen more orchestra musics and i love orchestral musics.
This song is pulling in the roots of my heart. Crying is an understatement of what this song does to me, and I'm guessing everyone else too
I cried like a baby at the end of this game, when yuna tried to run to tidus but ran right through him the tears started pouring out.
goosebumps every single time....i'm going to art school for Musical Theatre and i listen to alot of orchestral music and i also play alot of final fantasy...i own every one thats ever been released honest to god haha...this song just hits me sooo hard because 10 was the first one i played growing up and i remember how sad it was when i realized what was happening...

I agree with you.
💀What?
This song gives me chills I can't explain.
Final Fantasy X is too good to be called a game. It's just too perfect
This song is one of the most incredible compositions I've ever had the pleasure of listening to in my whole entire life
there has been at least 10 years from the last time I played FFX and yet I cant stop my self from shedding tears when I hear this.
Such a beautiful piece for such a beautiful game.

My favorite song recently:) Piano Cover :))
やはり「ザナルカンドにて」は何度聞いても涙が出てくる。
best game soundtrack ever.....
FF X is the best final fantasy till now ...
and it will stay the best, also its soundtracks ^^

Just beautiful. Simply beautiful. As are every FF soundtrack.
The character development in that game is unmatched; all-time, period.
Definitely one of the most heart connected, pathos enhancing theme songs out there.. one of the greatest games of its time, a true RPG icon and hard to surpass in its storytelling prowess, extended CGI's and SICK leveling up..
this song is one of the reason that orchestra songs are much more better or in fact the best songs in the world
This brings back such great memories.Watching my older cousins playing FFX at our grandparents house during epic holiday sleepovers.FFX,Jak and Daxter,Jak 2,Grand Turismo,Tekken 3 & 4 plus more ahhh great times. XD

Oh and trust me that means a lot.
In a lot of ways, I really didn't FFX...but some thing were undeniably awesome from FFX. I'm listening to it now.
Final Fantasy 10 is the mos epic final fantasy ever made!!!!its the best in the final fantasy series
I never played FF X but I must say that this soundtrack is by far the better of the whole series (in my opinion)
I dont want to forget anything about the feelings this game give it to me.. but i like to play it again some times and feel even a little of that especial feeling..
I seen it live last night :D It was amazing :)
La meilleure musique de jeux vidéos
1:55 my favourite piece, it just thrusts you into the most emotional part of the song
this song is so beautifull.. Well done to the person who wrote it !!
Nobuo uematsu
i'am crying and i love it
i love dis melodie its so beutiful its going deep into my heart when i hear it its to beutiful
juste ... magique !
I'm crying from just the song
how can somebody dislike this? Seriously, I'd like to know! It's just so beautiful...
I didn't cry... I was so sad I literally couldn't cry... This game is one of only three games to hit me emotionally... Final Fantasy X, MGS4, and the major tear jerker that made me cry so hard my ex-girlfriend thought I was in pain... Mother 3

The best story ever told.

Definitely my 2nd favorite FF by far. Amazing soundtrack...must...play...more...Blitzball
Love the picture !
Simply wonderfull

Your first FF will always be the best one for you.
easily the best music from a video game
Fantastic song, beautiful game
I cry, every time.
This game made my brain explode when it first came out. Love it
That was brilliantly worded, well thought out, and real. Thank you.
amen, bro... beautiful storyline
it's a beautiful music
How many people cried at this game? Or even if they didn't shed tears, wept on the inside? No game that touches people so utterly and deeply and honestly could be anything other extraordinary.
This song makes me cry
that is great. i love the melody of this song. final fantasy is the most interesting game that i ve played, thanks Nobuo for this sweet rythmn
Every time I hear this song, I imagine the scene where Tidus first sees Yuna do a Sending, for some reason. That was just a beautiful scene and this is a beautiful song.
If there was ever a song to represent humanity, this would be it. A life of sadness, peppered with hope.
The seven first notes are enough to make me cry
The best of all final fantasy games... FFX!
This song will (no kidding) be played at my funeral.
I remember when this song played as Tidus learned that Yuna would die if she used the final summoning. That was probably one of the most touching moments for me in that whole game.
