Nice tests! However I wonder if these benchmark softwares are fully optimized for the M2 processors. I have a full specs 2012 Macbook Pro 15", the one with the nVidia graphic card. It still start very very fast. The macOS for Intel processors was very well optimized for the Macbook hardware, that's the real strength of Apple products. I can still use it for everything, except with graphical applications. With Adobe Illustrator, when graphics start to be heavy, the Macbook start to slowdown and heat a lot. For video editing, it's unsuable for 4K video. I would need to change the battery, because I can barely use the Macbook for a hour. I think these old Macbook are still valid if you don't use graphical applications.
