Literally went into a skate shop today and fell in love with one of your surfskate boards 😍 I immediately started obsessing over the website and became very confused about the differences between surfskate and surfcruiser!!! I’m so grateful for a video like this! Help a newbie to the skateboard world understand please 😅❤
Great new lineup! We are loving having these boards at the shop, several are part of our surfskate demo fleet so we get great feedback from our SoCal visitors everyday. Very cool video, appreciate the extra truck info and good to know I've been totally overthinking my pronunciation of Legasee! 😅
Top notch this cheers 🙏👍 I usually ride an 8.5 popsicle with thunder 149s but keep looking at the Yows but scared they may be a bit too loose at the skatepark 😅 They look a good compromise these 😁
Not sure I see a need for a Surf Cruiser...... Meraki works just fine for cruising and is plenty stable once your legs stabilize over time to the feel. I routinely ride 10-15 miles on my Meraki setup, with 90mm wheels and its simply amazing. If your Meraki feels too unstable, your rear trucks and bushings aren't dialed in. Sufficient rear truck bushing stiffness is the secret and key to a great feeling setup. Too soft rear setup will allow the front truck to dive and jack knife. Get the rear jist soft enough for good flex and to keep the wheels on the ground, but stiff enough to moderate the front end and you're golden. Also, some nice Riptide high quality bushings go along way, but I can makr even mediocre bushings feel good with a little grease. Once you get your Meraki dialed, riding anything else around town is a downgrade.
this cruisers seem to be way lighter than a Meraki. More steady, skate friendly (you can grind and ollie...). Cruising around in a Meraki is possible indeed, but you'll most likely enjoy more the 15 miles ride with one of these babies
Can you describe your setup in more detail? What kind of deck, spaces are you using to avoid wheelbite with your 90mm wheels (are these Seismic 90mm MEGAWATT Wheels?)?

90mm that thing has gotta be tall! I got the OG legasee and love it. Don’t even use the meraki anymore
