Uploading this because it's a big milestone for me. I had much better pace runs than this but always choked them. AT Velkhana is my favorite and arguably the best desgined monster in the game, so I don't mind fighting him a bit (or a lot) more. I still have some extremely difficult techniques to learn that will help me push the time lower. Need more practice^TM.

the prep for punishes are so early, i'm sometimes confused if he's gambling on the next pattern, see the monster move in an ui, or there's actually a predictable tell that i never noticed after fighting him hundred of time.
what i noticed though is at 5:11. you were started for the 3 full charges punish after the knockdown and then noticed it was a stun, so you didn't have time for it and only charged the strong charge to lvl2 to stay in the timing.
Ah, so that's what I'm doing wrong with my GS gameplay... I just suck xd Beautiful clean and consistent hits there! absolutely amazing gameplay

I had to watch this to bleach my eyes after watching asmongold's try at story mode Velkhana.
Only 1-5% player are as good as this guy and can solo effortlessly even with endgame gear. Try fight this with limited gear and build on first time, I rage quit a couple of times until someone came over and save the day. Iceborn aren't enjoyable solo.
What is your equipment used in this video? Armor pendants etc..

Frostcraft bar
I dont understand how my GS doesnt do as much damage
He is using Frostcraft which applies a damage modifier. Comes from the “rimeguard set”.
Other than that, you need critical boost 3, weakness exploit 3, agitator 7, attack boost 7, peak performance 3/resentment 5.
If you are not using these skills and instead using some comfortable skills like divine blessing etc. You will not achieve the same numbers.
I hope to God you are not a defense boost user, if you are take it out of your build now.
