Read Bruen. Basically, it said all current gun laws are illegal. All the federal stuff will be thrown out eventually. Nearly all of the state stuff will be too.
These laws are already unconstitutional, the court does not have to rule the constitution to be lawful as it is already the supreme law of the land. We need politicians, judges and the supreme court justices to start obeying our constitution.
This is why you don't comply with unconstitutional "rules".

No limits, No types of firearms mentioned, no such thing other than we have the right to keep and bear arms(plural) and it shall not be infringed. Arms arent just firearms, arms are a means to protect yourself and/or others. Be it knives, bats, batons, axes, hammers, Bows/Crossbows, fists, etc, so on and so forth.
Theres no need to expand or explain, Its cut and dry. Under 2A American Citizens who have not been revoked of their rights(felons) Are allowed to possess such weapons.

This should effect Frames & Receiver 'rule', pistol brace, Auto Keycard (still in court), and many other "Rules", Laws that didn't go through Congress, that the BATFE (the B & E is silent, pun intended) has pushed through and is trying to push through. LOVE IT.

The only problem I see in the pistol brace case is the Congress already passed a law against short barreled rifles. I can see this heading back to the original interpretation saying the brace cannot be used to shoulder the weapon. No cheek rest. Arm brace only. That is what the manufacturers claimed it was in the first place. Hopefully it will stop a mandatory registration. But then again the government has already been getting away with creating an illegal registry.
Hoping that this carries on to strike down whatever rule the ATF has planned for Braces and the court cases for the forced reset triggers.

It definitely sets a precedent. The ATF and the Left wing are pushing hard and trying to loophole their way to regulation, but many of the recent rulings and other court cases related to a lot of the regulation rules being pushed are throwing a lot of wrenches in the gears of that machine.

Let’s hope this survives any ATF findings in the future. IMHO, the only way to end this madness is to disband the NFA. Also, we need to redefine the role of the ATF, removing any ability of them to write “findings” that are used to skirt 2A. Fire all of the top brass, and get people who will support the newly defined role.
This ruling should serve as precedence for any future findings by the ATF or other executive agency that would unconstitutionally attempt to pass findings as law.

I believe this ruling will not deter the ATF from releasing their arm brace ruling. They do not care about the constitutional rights of law abiding American citizens and could care less about it running through the courts for the next several years. First of all it gives government lawyers something to do while our rights are being denied also they really don't care about the cost of this type of litigation. They get paid either way, regardless. It does however costs the plaintiffs (and their supporters) twice as much to get their rights back, as they are also paying for the Gov't lawyers who are arguing to take our rights away.
Im currently on my way to Bermuda to retrieve my bumpstocks!

This should also filter into the rare breed trigger case, and a couple of others that were taken to the cleaners by the ATF wrongfully. It’ll be interesting to see how this influences those type of cases.

That EPA case was huge as was NYSRPA v. Bruen. I think momentum is building for many federal gun restrictions to be lifted because they are unconstitutional. The Federal Appeals Court in the Third Circuit just agreed to hear a case en banc that challenges the federal government’s authority to infringe on 2A rights. Check out Mark Smiths video posted yesterday on Four Boxes Diner. The Third Circuit is NJ, PA, and Delaware 😂.
There's going to be more cases like EPA coming this term. Chevron is going the way of Roe and Casey soon.

Trump signed the EO because no one cared about bump stocks since binary triggers was what people were buying, and by putting focus on bump stocks binary triggers weren't attacked. Also by signing an EO it could be removed as shown here. If it was federal law it would be a lot harder.
Trump said that to dismiss the push for regulations on silencers. He isn't against silencers when he was ready to sign HPA and deregulate them except McCain vetoed everything.
Trump was the most pro 2A president we have ever had. He put federal protections for shooting ranges and shooting on public lands, he deregulated ITAR which allowed 3D printed guns and accessories to proliferate, he got the ATF to quit that stupid brace shouldering thing, and got us out of the UN Arms Treaty that was poised to import European gun control here. Trump had repealed Obama's red flag EO which would have let any healthcare professional order the seizure of anyone's guns indefinitely.

This will have a chilling effect on anything else they do. People will now say "yeaaaaaa I'll just hide this in the safe until these retards lose again". Which is the PERFECT SOLUTION.

On top of that at the very least it will be ruled that it can only be used as a brace on the arm. No shouldering, no cheek rest. Back to the original interpretation. The difference here is that a law against short barreled rifles was passed by Congress. Not just an ATF rule. I suspect someone in Congress will now put forth a bill to create a law against bump stocks. It may end up being a temporary victory.
That's why there needs to be consequences for an agency that skirts the law, writes it's own laws by fiat and whatever. They need to be fined heavily for doing this to make them think twice about doing this stuff.
@@jefferytillis8309 except that law passed by Congress banning short barreled rifles without a tax stamp etc. Is unconstitutional as it has no historical text and tradition in the Constitution back in 1791 the law passed must first be constitutional before anything else. The NFA on its face is unconstitutional.

Lets not do that. It sounds good but you realize we're the ones paying for it right? Either through inflation from deficit spending or from Congress just re-appropriating funds from some other agency or program.
The ATF most definitely will go after the braces. And they will track down buyers that they can use as examples to put fear of prosecution to the rest of those that have them. Is all about keeping the population believing that the government needs to be obeyed no matter what.
I think the entire concept of "braces" is just a honey pot to then go after anyone who buys them. Think about it. You buy a stock and they don't know the difference.

That is 100% correct. When your boss is the DOJ you get lawyers for free. Also if the court says you're wrong, you just say sorry. Very very rare the government ever paid a fine or monetary disbursement for being wrong. What's there to loose?

"Officially Own"...not yet, have to wait for the judicial process to finalize. But if it passes all the red tape and appeals, then yes. There's been two Bill's in Congress simmering and not getting passed trying to make the actual law to ban them. But the opposition is too strong to pass them, so they just sit. But I would speculate that companies will ramp up manufacturing once it's G2G.

Agency overreach IMHO. Logically, WHY would a firearms accessory manufacturer invest capital into R&D of a product to have it banned later. Due diligence has been displayed the whole time. I hope this decision sets precedence for the frame /receiver debacle the ATF has perpetrated. Great video, by the way.
To many, it appears that the ATF has been pursuing a FUD strategy - its “rules” flip flop from”legal” to “felony”, so the hope is that fear/uncertainty/doubt kill off market demand since the risk can be an arbitrarily-decided 10yrs in prison as a felon.

One correction: the ATF didn't enact the ban... we have Donald "take guns first, go through due process second" Trump to thank for that one as well as leaving the ATF director position vacant for Biden to pick.
Trump's only 2 accomplishments that weren't immediately undone within a week were the bump stock executive order and Operation Warped Speed... while I don't think any appellate courts can overturn Myocarditis, I'll settle for the bump stock win for now.

There is no accountability for anyone in government doing whatever they want anywhere, let alone at the federal level. The Bruen and the West Virginia V EPA decisions from the Supreme Court SHOULD have effectively ended the ATF as an agency.
