Yes and no! They partially work by just wiring them up. To gain full functionality, you will need some sort of CANBUS interface.
Watch the video to see what happens when plugged in!

Somewhat related I suppose, I have a 2015 Ram as my donor. Wanted to use a Challenger Instrument Cluster for my Resto-Mod. Bought a 2015 cluster, plugged it in and everything worked with exception of 4X4 indications. Obviously I have all modules.

What about the 15 and up? Like a hellcat or scatpack?

would love to understand more on the "sorcery" needed for full functionality (I saw russel from SGA with a full functioning cluster)

I believe you have the year wrong. That cluster is from 2012-2014 Charger. The 2011 looks almost identical except the center screen is not in color and gear indicator is below the screen not in the screen. The 2018 has 7" screen with 2 small analog gauges Tach and Speedometer instead of the 2 big Tach and Speedometer and 2 small gauges Engine Temp and Fuel. You are correct that cluster did belong to a pursuit charger.

You are correct. We had both in house and I grabbed that one by mistake
