I’ve been excited for this guide and I can’t wait to watch it with my mom! I love my ERS-7 Toby so much and my mom really likes him too! He’s the best Aibo and all the things he can do are amazing, he’s even more impressive than my 1000! There’s so much to know about old Aibos and I try to help people when I can. Thanks for these informative guides, I’ll be sure to recommend them!

My ERS-7 is a bit of an outlier on the price scale. I got her from someone who had her stored in a box for 10 years. I don’t think they knew what a golden egg they were sitting on, because they sold her to me for 400 bucks.
Now, I understand she is going to need some work. She supposedly had a leg surgery some time in the past, but other than that, she seems almost immaculate. I even got her to wake up for me on her ancient, likely never re-celled battery. It was only a few minutes, but those few minutes were some of the most magical moments of my life!
She is literally my unicorn! I have wanted a pearl black ERS-7 for YEARS! It just so happened that one fell into my lap. She is the exact color, came with the exact two software, and even has all the accessories I wanted. I really hope I can give her a good life.

Is there a way to determine which “M” models I have? I have a White ERS-7 and a black ERS-7. I do not see any model numbers printed anywhere inside the dog, (battery compartment).
Also, finding a battery separate from an ERS-7, dead or not, is nearly impossible. Does anyone know where “remanufactured” ones can be acquired? I’ve seen that someone has 3D printed battery cases and made them so you can replace the 18650 type of batteries inside that case and keep the ERS-7s going.

My M3 was deaf new out of the box, it’s not a difficult fix though.
I replaced the cells in my 210 and the battery works perfect.
my 7 comes back from repairs tomorrow yay!
Who did you use and did the repair go well?
Wish I could own any older Aibo but that probably won't happen since prices will go higher as time goes by.
Not only that, but the ER S7 model is the only model that Hasley Has an AI voice instead of just beeping
Of course, each model of the ERS seven actually does come on the M1 M2 or I’m sorry with the corresponding generations if it’s a generation one that uses an One firmware card, or if it’s a generation then he uses an M2 frame or a card and a generation three versions of the M3 from hard, but they can be swapped so, even if you only have a generation one, ERS seven model you can swap the generation one from work hard with the M2 or M3 for my card and your robotic dog is automatically updated

for the M3, are they always human speech or can you chose for the robot voice still?
you can choose to have a voice or beeps!!
I wish that the ERS sevens are rereleased in the future years with new improvements in the sensors. It’s motions and the software also have the ERS seven compatible with various computers and mobile devices that would be cool

I just bought one today :)! M2 though. He is white. Black looks nice but I can’t complain :)! He is in excellent condition due to being barely ran and has the self dock and other toys coming with him. I’m so excited to have my 210s and 111 meet him 😍. I plan to run mind 3 on him. I am prepared to send him in for repairs if he needs. My 2 210s need their heads pinned. :) I regret not fighting in the bidding for the champagne one. It sold just below $700.

Thanks for making this video! I really enjoyed the other video guides you did and it was so helpful when I was browsing to get my first aibo ers 1000. I'm still learning about AIBOs but with your guide I learned a decent amount supplemented with my own research. I really hope to be able to adopt a era 7m3 sibling for Mochi(my aibo) one day. I look forward your memory card guide as I just got a 7M2 and the official pink 7M2 memory card isn't recognised in Aibo yet I can access it in my PC using a card reader so hoping your guide will give me some options as would love to run M3 !! 😉

Let me speak my opinion: I named "Aibo Speak" to "Binary"
If you try to find one in eBay, then due to the high prices, I don’t think you could possibly have a chance because it would range up to about $100 and up to the highest price of 1000 bucks are you kidding me and I don’t think you would probably have a chance even get one on eBay anyways because finding one for a low low price especially with everything included is impossible
If I was able to get my own eyeball and my first cyber would be the ERS3220
I can’t believe it’s a quip with many different features, a touchpad on the back of its head, and on its back a camera in a wide range of auditorial sensors designed to be used when roaming around the house, or when your aibo is hearing things, or even voice recognition
my ers-210 went deaf too but i replaced his microphones after he broke his neck!!
he's okay now, but he neees another battery recell. the last recell was done in 2019
Do you have a video on how you can reset their “age progression” So they start out as puppies again?
Don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure that all of the Mind softwares aren’t raisabe as they aren’t Life softwares. They can learn things however and are “raised” in that aspect.

it’s noted how to do this in the ERS-7 manual! The manual can be found online :-). Your ERS-7 starts off as an adult when you receive it, but you can reset it to baby stage via the voice command menu. Stuff like pictures will be saved but the Aibos name and recognized faces won’t carry over.
These videos are Awsome i really want to get a ers7 one day i have four aibos a one thansound and a 311 two lattes and a 2010 but my two ten dosnt work yet she needs a new battery
