Episode 9: Preventative Maintenance for the Mustang Starts!
In today's video we will be changing these poor spark plugs on this 2006 mustang. Jill gets to do a majority of the work. We also did our video a little bit differently this time round. Let us know what yo think!
We picked up our Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs from ‪@AutoZone‬. @Autozone is wonderful because 1) they are close by 2) they carry everything we need for this car and we can get it as we need it, and 3) the prices aren't bad either.
The spark plugs are LONG overdue on this car. It is unknown what the service history is of this vehicle, but we do know it's mileage is EXEMPT. It's been a minute since it's had some TLC.
The proper gap for this car is .05 -.056 - the spark plugs we got from ‪@AutoZone‬ were already gapped at .053. Perfectly down the middle. Even pre-gapped plugs, you always want to double check for it doesn't take much to alter the gap on the plug.

Fancy camera work! Not sure about the ‘camera through the chest’ transition, but the rest were really fluid and fun to watch. Kicking it up a few notches for sure.

We will try some more stuff. we have an idea for SEMA and would love to perfect it here rather then try new things at there. LOL Thanks, it took a lot longer to do the video because the multiple takes for camera movement. Editing makes it seem smooth but it anything but.
