I find that when I use the die I don’t have to cut a certain way because the die holds the fabric and there isn’t any distortion when cutting. You just need to make sure you don’t distort the fabric when sewing. Did you know you can use tissue paper to stabilize your fabric when you sew if you cut it off gain or across the bias? And then you tear it off really easy after you’ve sewn it.

@@KathysKuteKreations okay. I guess I thought the other small pieces if put together could create a small half square triangle or that if you cut more pieces of the large triangle pieces you would have a large triangle. If they can't make any other blocks why would you save the pieces?
Did it just start acting up? If your mat is old, the machine will not cut correctly. Is your mat worn? And you have clean out the treads after each use.

So you were cutting them off grain? You were putting them on straight with the side of the die and not the cutter markings

Because you never know where you can use a piece.
My small triangle never cut, not even 2 layers
Your machine wouldn’t cut the triangles? Is you machine new? If it is I would reach out to the company AccQuilt.

It's a brand new , I just opened it today
I would call them about it then. They should take it back and replace it.
