Im catching up on all the old videos.....your collection is beyond amazing!!! I also want to take a moment and say I for one appreciate the work you are doing with Deej at Spookala. Cant wait to see what you bring to future shows. Ive been a fan since day 1!!
Sean, these videos are great! I know they'll cancel our horror con in February here in Georgia. I'll just marathon these until everything gets back to some sort of normalcy. Thanks!
Awesome man! I was able to get the battle jacket from Jason Guy since you turned it down, so Thank You! Lol also just purchased a Bubba mask from Tom Savini yesterday.. man I’m jealous of you right now 💀
the part 1 saw is long gone, it was a farmers saw that was given back and possibly scrapped or thrown away after years of usage, lots of people will fake having the original saw when in reality they just have a regular 245a
I have a Leatherface poster that's signed by William Butler, RA, Ken, and Kate Hodge. It's pretty similar to yours, but it's a 27x41 theatrical poster rather than the video one. But I don't have anything close to those chainsaws. Those are like holy grail items for sure.
Wow! This is awesome Sean! Those are definitely the two most unique chainsaws of all time, especially the excalibur saw since it was custom made. I'm almost positive that it's a Stihl 036, but there is a slight chance that it could be an 034 since they are almost identical. Do you by chance know who played leatherface in the trailer for part 3? There's always been people claiming it was Kane Hodder but I really doubt it. Kane would have taken credit by now. I think it was just some random guy since it was pre production.
You know you're an obsessed horror movie collector, when you collect Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 merchandise, who am I kidding that saw is awesome, but if you buy something from part 4 were having you committed.
there is no information on this from what i know personally about these saws & my buddies i have who are also die hard fans of poulan 245A chainsaws. lots of people will claim they have the saw from the original movie, when in reality they don’t.
You said in this video that someone owns the original Poulan 245 from the original TCM. I have always heard that it was long gone. It would be so hard to authenticate that saw. I dont know if I believe that anybody really has it. I figure it was thrown in the trash or lost in a yard sale years go. This was 20 years before anybody knew it would amount to anything. If I remember correctly it was given back to its owner, which tobe Hooper had borrowed it from. I know those saws very well and they were so run of the mill that anybody could slap a piece of electrical tape on the side and say it's the original. I have 4 that I have made look identical. Easiest prop to replicate.
@@Griddyguy7 It has been a misconception for years. The 245a has a less recessed fuel tank on top compared to the smaller cc 306a. A 306 was even mistakenly used in the new TCM 2022.
Gemr the company that put those out folded and they took their UA-cam channel down. The producers of that particular show did retain the rights and are currently shopping it around for a new home. Hopefully it resurfaces somewhere. We did at least 3 more episode that were never released. I can do my collection videos but quality wise mine pale in comparison. I do not myself. Most American Werewolf stuff is in Bob Burns collection. There is a chango head going to auction in London next month. I bet it gets 6 figures. There is a LOT of Evil Dead related stuff out there especially since the TV series.
I always thought the saw from the '74 film was returned to the owner after filming and could never be located thereafter? I think it was a Poulan 306A?
@@malfuncsean I'm actually amazed that the original chainsaw is still out there, nice little factoid from this ep. I have to admit, I'm not a collector myself, but your collection is seriously impressive. Was that the original gold idol from "Raiders of the Lost Ark"? Cheers!

Incredible pieces, what condition is the saw from the first film in?
We don’t know might be in a land field maybe in a private collection maybe it was thrown in a scrap yard at the end of the 70’s
I held jason guys at a convention and thought it was heavy, i can only imagine how part 2 is
Really incredible ! The handle on the leather face (the saw is family) looks like raw meat! Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Sean, do you know if anyone owns the chainsaw to the 2003 remake? Would you ever try to get your hands on that chainsaw?
The other chainsaw from 3 is at the original gas station from the first movie. I’ve seen it before, still in great condition
Awesome! One day i will own at least a replica of The Saw Is Family chainsaw. I want a Tattoo of it also.
Wow... was wondering what happened to the saw from part 2. I didn’t think the trailer saws still existed, I’ve never seen photos of it popped up.
Hey Sean, Just wondering if you've ever measured or know what size bar is on the tcm 2 saw?
Very nice !
How much did both of the chainsaws cost individually?
You literally have everything Sean 😍
Both saws are beautiful but I wonder why they put the Stihl 036 dogs on upsidedown?
any more information on the one from the original 1974 movie? how do you know its from a private collector and is there any info on its condition?
