I thought the interaction between Alanis and Edna worked well, after all the main objective was to entertain the audience and both succeeded to that end, Alanis did well as she had absolutely no idea where Edna was taking her, and Graham was wondering how to get his show back, but he also knew it made for good television.
Notice how Barry takes her hands and squeezes them just after she corrects him like he’s apologising and praising her at the same time for the quick retort.
