- After loads of public pressure and backlash, the Miami-Dade Police Department released the body-cam footage of Tyreek Hill's arrest hours before his first game of the NFL season, showing once again that we need to continue to have real conversations about police reform in America and fight for systemic change if we want to prevent this from happening again. I can understand being annoyed that Tyreek rolling up his window when the cops still wanted to talk but there were dozens of other ways the police could’ve handled this without throwing Tyreek to the ground and without the police being put on leave. And that is what we should be expecting from them.

He then continuously does not obey police commands during a traffic stop (which is by law, illegal in Florida). All he had to do was lower his window and sit tight, he’d get a ticket and then be on with his day.

The biggest thing that you have to remember is that it's just a minor traffic stop. They didn't need to be this aggressive and outrageous. What about a little customer service? The cops work for us. There's no reason to act that intense. It's over small basic matters regardless. That's what people forget when they make excuses to justify it. These cops were on a level 10. That's the problem they don't desculate they escalate situations. They knew he was famous, They wanted to feel like he was kissing their butt because they're jealous of him. They want to feel very important and express their authority. It was pathetic. Look at how they're talking to his teammate. It's way too much. They arrested him for simply showing up, It's insane.

TYT muted the video because cursing can cause their video to be demonetized. The full bodycam video is available on UA-cam with the full audio and the beginning of the video where Hill keeps rolling his window up on the cop. They had no choice but to pull him out of the car.

At the end of the day, force should be MATCHED by the police. There is no reason an army of cops should surround and harass ONE LONE individual. You Can NOT say the seat belt was off definitely, because it can be removed while the officer is walking to the car. I've done it when I've been pulled over so I can retrieve my wallet in my back left pocket. That doesn't mean I was driving with it off. I know during the day with a tint that dark, it is NOT likely they saw his selt belt off when he was "Speeding" by so "Recklessly" they said in the. ticket, that they also saw his seat belt was not on. Those are what you call "Hummer" (Bullshit) charges that get piled on. Trust me, that charge will be the first one dropped. Trust me, it's often used as a part of the "Probable Cause" for a stop... but even judges and prosecutors know there are BS.

I've seen a lot of bodycam footage (Blue Code Cam, EWU, etc.)
And right off the bat, normal cops would tell the perpetrator many times to get out of a car (I'm talking about 5 minutes of "get out of the vehicle or we'll have to break your window"). If the perpetrator STILL refuses to leave their vehicle, then the cops forcibly remove them.
These cops barely give Tyreek a chance to open his door or even the other guy to leave the scene. Tyreek's legal team was right to use "overzealous" to describe the cops.
@@darkwinter8 they also better have a good reason to remove someone. An NFL player (they knew he was) pulled over for speeding should never be removed. Write the ticket or don't. No need for other words or actions

This was for a CIVIL TRAFFIC VIOLATION! No threat, no weapons, he gave them his information and ID. Go write the TRAFFIC "TAX" TICKET and be done. Escalation and Excessive Force evert step.
