🔵 Summary: We follow the crew on a variety of normal everyday events in a firemen life: viewing the 1905 American LaFrance Steam Engine; doing a "Fill the Boot" fundraising campaign; and responding to a Sixth Floor Apartment Fire.
Season 2 follows the first responders of Washington, DC. A camera crew is in embedded in fire companies through the city and follows each crew during their 48 hour shift as they fight fires, perform rescues on land and at sea, and assist during medical emergencies. Additionally, we get to know the individual firemen in the company and what the everyday life is for these everyday heroes.
