Hi can you clear one doubt? If investment is sold at loss or gain. And they ask to calculate maximum permissible buyback. Should we take loss/gain effect in our calculation of 25% of pusc+fr+spr And in debt equity test ?
I understand you are talking about Premium Payable on Buy Back. See first the source of this premium on buyback was Securities Premium Reserve so we have to deduct from it and then payment was done to equity shareholders so of course cash will also be reduced because there is outflow of cash.

There is buyback of 20% of its ESC which is 25,00,000 but there are 2,50,000 shares

2,50,000 is no. of shares issued @10 each
Therefore 20% of 2,50,000 is 50,000
