Glad you are back. I am so sorry for all the losses especially your mother in law and in such a short period of time. 💔 Nagbert is what my daughter calls me when I am persistent about something 😟 I sure hope you like The Stranding now that I have made a pest of myself!!!!.That would be super embarrassing! The Road to Dalton was wonderful and I have preordered the sequel due out in September I think, Where The Forest Meets the River. I decided to try and read my first Jane Austen novel at my ripe old age of 65. I have a copy of Pride and Prejudice so I guess I will start there. I was more of a social butterfly in high school and was only an average student in English and Literature continuing into college so I am a bit behind 😉
Thank you, Marcia. Tough times for sure. I did not know about the Road to Dalton sequel; all the more reason to get cracking. I'm not worried about the Stranding; it sounds too strange to not be good, lol. I hope you love Pride and Prejudice! I think now is a great time to enjoy it for your first time. It reveals new things every time I reread it. And the 1995 BBC show is really good as well.
Dear Angelia, please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother-in-law. I am still processing Alice’s untimely passing. We liked the same kind of books and we were friends with the same booktubers so I found out a little early that we lost this wonderful person. I hope you have a wonderful July. Aloha friend.

In Argentina where the author is from, Puig is pronounced like Pweeg. In Catalan, where the name is apparently originally from, it's completely different, so if you google pronunciation, if you search "Manuel Puig pronunciation" there's a UA-cam of someone pronouncing it as in Spanish/Argentina (if you search Puig alone you'll get the Catalan pronunciation, which was ... surprising!) I read Kiss of the Spider Woman many years ago and really liked it. I've also got Liliana's Invincible Summer here from the library to read. I'd also like to get to Orbital soon - I've only heard good things!

Lol, even without planning we do become book twins yet again! Some recent booktuber swayed me on Orbital, I think EKA?, and when I looked it up, one of my libraries had it available and that rarely happens so I took it as a sign and checked it out! I think it’s 20 days and counting at this point, and I have a few things that will be due before that, so it’s not top of my list, but starting before the first third of the month goes by.
We did it again! I'm not surprised. I hope we love it.
One way to pronounce it is “pweeg”. It’s lovely to see you back and I am sorry that more loss greeted you. 🤗 I am only two books down on my Jackson Brodie reread, but the third has been requested. I don’t remember how I felt about the fourth one, but I vividly recall my love for Big Sky. So excited for the new one. Happy reading!

Hi there! I'm a regular viewer of your UA-cam channel and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your videos. They're really helpful and I've learned a lot from them. However, I've noticed a few issues in some of your recent videos that I thought I'd bring to your attention.
Hoping you get a respite from all these losses soon. I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts on Wellness. I read it last year, but nobody on Booktube was really talking about it, and I didn't do a review. I think I am going to try to read Persuasion for Jane Austen July. Yay Olive!
