    Why is the push button not interrupting the circuit between the battery? The way it’s set up, why does the push button have any effect? Shouldn’t it just be on all the time since both the positive and negative are directly connected to the transmitter? Thanks

    • @kathras
      @kathras 7 місяців тому +1

      pushing the push button actually completes the circuit, that is puts some energy onto the transmitter and then the reciever is already on and detects what the transmitter said, imo thats how it works

    • @rossbixley3173

      I use a standard programmable infra red for storage of 433 Mhz rf codes.
      I take a pair of IR remote extenders, which consist of an IR to 433Mhz transmitter and a 433Mhz to IR receiver.
      Use your RF remote with the RF to IR converter to output codes and store on the programmable IR remote and then use the stored codes with the IR to RF converter to operate appliances.
      I also use the little 433Mhz programmable car type remotes to store IR codes.
      I am thinking of making a switchable input to switchable output device.
      I think I might be able to store BT and WiFi codes ( Amongst others ) in a similar manner.

      The rx module in this video is what’s called a “super-regenerative” type.. it basically uses positive feedback to increase gain until the transistor oscillates. This means it will constantly output noise. Meaning your LED will always be lit.
