I'm a huge C63 fan and the sound that comes out of that monster is just crazy. I guess that's my expectation out of any AMG. Good luck with the MagnaFlow.
No problem Khalid. Today I got the price for my custom made long-pipe shot headers. I'll be doing this modification soon, if you want to see the work, let me know.
Hello .... I like what you did and of course you've got a better sound, but is it still accelerate like before while normal driving?? ( not racing )?. I wanted to do it but still afraid of loosing it's power. So what do you suggest. Thanks a lot.
Oh .. thanks for replying on me. I Already checked your videos but I didn't find the odo meter when driving. But anyways I'll do it as I think and yes you helped me (thanks again)
Khalid, Thanks for your message! Check out my other videos for an idea of the acceleration before and after the modifications. You may or may not know already, but the W210 E55 AMG has an "intelligent" ECU/TCU. So after this modification, the car automatically adjusts itself to the new air flow etc which the modification gives. My car has almost settled into its reprogramming now. I have absolutely not lost power. I have gained power and increased fuel economy. I hope this helps :o)
B BB horsepower gains from the exhaust work which was done in this video will be extremely minimal. These modifications focus more on allowing the E55 to sound more like a V8 should sound, and on saving weight.
You still can't hear it. I would've left it all stock but welded pipe in place of the muffler. A muffler that quiet can't be good for flow, you should have a Magnaflow, Ultra Flo or Pypes Race Pro installed in it's place.
That'll definitely let it breathe and sound like a V8 should. Mufflers nowdays are almost a waste, with high output V8's, muffler deletes sound just as good if not better than expensive performance mufflers. When I buy a car the first thing I do is a muffler delete since it's cheapest. If it's too loud, then I pay for a muffler.
I forgot to tell you that I live in alain city in UAE so I'll contact with the number that you wrote in the description ... and one more thing please .. where and how can I reprogram the car??
Let me know what price they give you for the modifications Khalid, maybe we can get you a discount! Once the work on the exhaust is done, allow the car to re-program itself. You do not need to pay for a remap of the ECU/TCU with this modification. If anyone tells you differently, they are wrong.
The only modification which has had any noticeable effect on fuel consumption is the supercharger. That being said, if you fully modify your exhaust like I continued on to do after this video - I still think you would need to match that with a remap to see any significant performance and/or economy changes.
I guess you had some extra money to spend, cause that defenently didn't sound anything like an AMG exhaust. Those guys did such a bad job in with the X pipe. Sorry just my opinion.
+Mehraz Sheikhi Thanks for your reply, and you're absolutely entitled to your opinion. What a lot of people don't realise is that the factory AMG muffler has stayed on the vehicle, helping keep the tones of the system much more subtle. How it doesn't "sound like an AMG exhaust" when the car is blatantly an AMG, is quite strange for you to say however. Agreed, the X-Pipe MIG tack welding wasn't the best of techniques, but the main TIG welding prior to it was absolutely fine. Rest assured, the function of the X-Pipe is great, although the aesthetics may be lacking. That being said, there is an Magnaflow X-Pipe ready to replace it very soon - which will compliment the Kleemann Longtube Headers and rest of system in a much "better looking" way, even though you never see them since they're under the car.
I said on the previous reply, I assure you that you will not lose power with this modification Khalid. Feel free to inbox me you email address of phone number, and I will be more than happy to advise you further!
Hi there. No issues with O2 Sensors? Or does deleting secondary cats solve that problem? What about the Primary Cats? Do these get clogged and become a problem in the future?
Phenomenal! Benz V-8's sound as sweet as any LS !
Se que no es igual pero si hago eso se escuchará bien mi E320 W210 ?? Gracias

This is without the supercharger? How much whp did you make here?

Great, thanks!

@@AdmiralRustyShackleford I muffler deleted my E230, it sounds amazing and got faster also. Muffler delete is the way to go!
Man, that sounds nice! Those guys do very nice work!!
Im planning to do the same thing, but I wanted to know if removing the secondary cats will increase emissions to the point of getting failed by RTA.
Thanks for the reply Junior. Can you tell me how much they charged for the work?

do you notice miles per gallon decrease?

pablo correa it’s not about the miles per gallon it’s about the smiles per gallon
How many hours of labor involved?
Dino Unplugged you’d need to give the shop around 3 hours to remove, cut, bend, weld, and replace the system.
I really appreciate it and thanks a lot for your help ... of course I will talk to you again
what music?
asdfghjkl74248 I can't remember the title, I'll have to look it up!
найдите пожалуйста название )
cut the rear muffler off thats what i did straight pipe only
Tony V that would end up too much for me. The stock muffler tames it just enough for those 140kph highway drives.
Что за трек? подскажите
great job
yassine abdi thanks

2020 who is here
There will be new activity for 2020, I promise! There are new modifications to reveal!

Too quiet for all that work and money
In all honesty, the audio in the video doesn't do it justice. This car is more than loud enough. Any louder, and it would be annoying to drive.
How math
