I started watching this show the same day it came out and had no idea this was going to happen. I was interested in it because of Zoe, who’s an incredible actress. But the love story between Cruz and Aaliyah was a pleasant surprise. They had chemistry immediately. And there’s not a lot wlw ships in my opinion can pull that off. I feel Aaliyah was pretty flirtatious from the start and from there, you can kind of see where it’s going. Even though I’ve been enjoying this pair I feel this is going to be a tragic love affair. Because given the situation Cruz is in I don’t see a happy ending. I don’t know if this show is getting a season two or not. It kind of feels like a limited series type of show honestly, and that’s fine. Overall, I think the show is pretty good and I’ve enjoyed all of it. Thanks for the review. Love it as always 😊

This is one of those "enjoy-the-journey-while-you-can" type of textbook wlw storyline. The final destination for this plot has tragedy written all over it!
I agree. It's a military TV series based on the actual US task force. Sad endings are inevitable in war, so I'm prepared for heartbreak. Bottom line the writing is superb and I hope this show has long standing.

@Soulwarrior05 My good friend who is military has a nick name "flaca," she may not be as tall as "Cruz's" character nor butch like Bobby so "build" is irrelevant irl. Cruz's character mindset is complex due to her personal circumstances before enlisting, makes it more believable.
