@@lemmieatkins5351 sonic is actually in melee. You actually got to do the thing that one new article said. It was to promote sonic adventure. Though you needed to mail in your memory card to Nintendo so they could add him to the game. Sort of similar to the exclusive Mario and Yoshi trophy or the Samus without her helmet trophy.
Sakurai wasn't gonna bring sonic back but when solid snake was included in brawl they quickly decided to put sonic in last minute.
@@LostKiddo I think there's a prototype for playable Shadow too but that got scrapped... it's definitely on the files of an old version of Melee.

They should've used ryan drummonds sonic voice, it would've fit with the mod because the sonic model is mainly based on sa1 sonic

They haven't found a way to play victories for the new characters. So when you win,it just goes back to the Character Selection.
Anyone remember an issue of Nintendo magazine came out a long time ago on April 1st? It had a screenshot of Sonic in Meele, and instructions on how to unlock him.

I noticed when I played the mod sonic runs slower than in brawl
Probably because brawl is noticeably slower gameplay wise so the run speed isn’t as pronounced in melee. I think it’s the same in Beyond Melee
I'm not gonna lie, this is making me tempted to get this mod and actually play Melee legitimately for the first time.
