Genuine suggestions : a) An authentic Toyota sun visor. They are made in Australia by Hy Way sun visors in NSW and are available direct or from Toyota. They really help with glare and passenger comfort. b) Sound and thermal insulation.
Hi Twins. We met you at Delicate when we were camping. How is your little baby bird going? We live your videos, can’t wait for another one. Happy adventures from her in Sydney
Gday Heidi! Sorry for the late reply. The little birdie was going super well. Growing bigger and eating, then unfortunately she/he took a turn for the worst and passed away. We see this in orphan birds a lot.
Good video....makes a change from the usual "Lets go rock crawling" stuff. Great to get a view of the Troopy. We have a 75 series originally from NSW fire dept which we bought in the UK and at the moment we are in lockdown in Africa. Check out our Troopy build which even has the same roof/shelf console in the front. Well done again for a fantasic little tour of your set up!!!
From one twin to another there’s no way I can pick who is who and no doubt you’ve played tricks on your loved ones and friends 👀 Sophie or Bridget? - well thought out and intelligent practical mods/accessories without destroying the vehicle or your budget - oh your engine bay ‘thingie’ is called a battery isolator - I have to confess I’m a 2010 Hilux owner but would love a project Troopy one day but the project Hilux aluminium canopy is my priority now that all my Covid-delayed accessories, electrics and 23Zero RFT have finally arrived - love your entertaining theatrics too - stay Covid safe - John in SA
Thanks John! Oh funny you say that. I’m terrible with telling other twins apart… We haven’t played that many tricks actually. People just always get it wrong, but it’s life. Thank you! Yes battery isolator, always having brain farts. I try to buy once and not get lead down good business marketing paths. Hilux’s are good. I have a 2wd Hilux before the troop. Loved it. I’m obsessed with the old school 80s Hilux’s at the moment.
I love it. Wouldn’t go without gauges again. The pod itself I can’t complain about, just buy the right one for your car. The gauges are great they are just super bright at night. So I put stockings over them to dull them.
Brenton Collas I agree! You wait to hear what I have to say about Sophie’s 80! Rob, from memory. But apparently he isn’t doing them anymore. But there is another company who is.
@David Mortimer are you serious, they obviously have a screw loose somewhere, honestly who acts like this? 100% cringe like a couple of dollar store Irwin kids.
Old mate, that’s ok. You are welcome to have your opinion. We simply wanted to put a fun video up, showing off one of our vehicles. However, we didn’t want to structure it like many of the other “4wd walk arounds” you see on UA-cam.
Great vid! Just curious, are the parabolics more comfortable on the road and gravel compared to the original leaf springs? I've got a 1995 HZJ75RV-MNQ (bought it new) and am looking at changing the original factory leaf suspension to somethign a bit more comfortable, but reliable.
Thank you! I really like them, esspecially with load. One day I might take a leaf out so its more comfortable without a load and get air bags for when I do load it up. Although I have never experienced new "standard" leafs in the troopy. So its hard to compare.

Love the look of visors. Just never committed.
Sound dead is in! And worth its weight in gold.
@@thewildlifetwins8076 Congrats on the insulation. A sun visor is a really good addition.
What a hoot !! must be fun to live around you two.
Haha would depend on who you ask.

Anyway great video!
Ohh bugga mate! They are one of a kind
how do you rate the dual pillar pod from SAAS? Ive got the same turbo and 1hz in my troopy too. also great vid!!

Can you please do a one of your shows?
nice troopy
How much did you get it for, and how much did you send fixing it up.
I originally brought it fro $7,500. The amount I have spent on it though..... mmmmm alot. Without regret though
That’s awesome it looks great
285 is how wide the tire is
75 is the percentage of sidewall compared to the width
16 is the size of the rim it fits on
Parabolic front, how it rides ?
anbu999 love it! I can’t compare to good quality “normal leafs” though, has my old springs were well over their use by date.
Town Bike! That's not very nice... What was the guys name down in SA who made the scoop?

Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series heavy duty 🇯🇵❤️💪👍🎥👍
Hi
I don't know why but the presenter looks like Jock from 4WD-247 if he were a girl.
HA... we would have to grow a little taller. But I don’t mind that comment...
What's wrong with these pair?
@David Mortimer are you serious, they obviously have a screw loose somewhere, honestly who acts like this? 100% cringe like a couple of dollar store Irwin kids.
Great video and vehicle guys.
Can’t wait to see more as it’s great to see the older vehicle rebuilds.
