    I have been on the fence after watching numerous video reviews on UA-cam previously, and yours finally made me place my order for the Samsung Gear S today.
    Thank you.

      Nick Ng Oh thank you for saying so. It is definitely a big investment, but once you learn the ins and outs of the device it is definitely a keeper. Please let me know if you have any questions at all about the device, and thank you for watching my videos.

    Andrew, I just wanted to say hi and thanks for your enthusiastic videos. I bought a Gear S today then searched UA-cam and discovered your channel. I've had my Gear S for now 5 months and all I have to say is that it's been flawless.
    I love it! The lack of tizen supplied apps is the only setback for me on this watch but that's minimal to what this watch has done for me. Hopefully Samsung has more app options down the line. My battery life is the same now as it has been since I got it. It lasts me a whole day without a charge and has plenty of battery life by the time I go to bed. And like you mentioned since I check all my junk notifications on my wrist it saves battery life on my Note 4.
    It so funny that you mention how sooo many people think it's an Apple watch since Apple's commercials have come out. I'm actually proud to say it's a Samsung Gear S and people actually say that my Gear S looks better than Apple...Lol. They actually consider getting a Gear S.
    I appreciate your videos. I actually used your 27min vid to run on the treadmill and it actually made my run go by fast while getting some useful info..so thank you. Keep up the great work.

      Christian Santana Thank you very much for watching my video and taking the time to comment on it. That whole "is that the new apple watch" cracks me up. It happen so many times this weekend it got boarder line annoying haha. But I pretty much converted all of them when i showed them the standalone function. (dropping of the mic type situation)

    Once again excellent blog for the Gear S. Keep up the good work.
    I have just purchased mine and have been using it constantly for 2 weeks now and I totally agree that I rarely use the phone to view messages or alerts..
    I personally don't have a separate Nano sim as I do carry my current phone with me at all times.. I have used the navigation system "here" to find and direct me to particular location..... And wow the prompts was amazing.. Step by step directions was very accurate indeed.

      Delroy Wallace Thank you very much for watching. But it's so true though, people don't realize how much they use their phones until they get one of these. I was also pretty suprised in how well the "here" app worked. I don't use ot often, but it's definitely a nice to have type thing. Thank you for watching again.

    Great video! I agree with you about the apps for the Gear S, yes there aren't as many apps as for android and later the apple watch, but like you said, I will use the phone for the vast majority of apps anyways. I downloaded many apps when I just got the Gear S and now I hardly ever use them. I love my Gear S because of the notifications. I also use it as a stand alone when I walk my dog, then I just connect a blue tooth headset and listen to the music on the watch. Other apps I use are: S Health (pedometer, heart rate and sleep monitoring), the timer, the calculator, the news widget and the weather widget. But the most useful feature is the notifications. I also sometimes answer text messages and emails with the watch, because the swipe feature on the keyboard is actually really good. I'm not sure I'll upgrade to the Gear S2, I'm already happy with what I have. The only thing I'd really like to see change is a different way to charge it because the cradle is a bit annoying sometimes.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      Albertine Thank you for commenting on my video once again :). I can't agree with you more. At first I downloaded all these cool anf fun apps, but now I never use them. My main apps are call, text, email, s health, music, milk, samsung wallet, calculator, and thats about it haha. And sometimes the navigation. I feel the same way about upgrading becuase I also feel that it does everything I need it too, but knowing Samsung they will make the new one do something extra that will create a new "want" / "need" from me lol.

    Excellent video. Got all the information I needed. I picked up one of these today from AT&T for 99 cents and a 2 year contract. Extra 10 bucks a month. I also bought a backup charging cradle off ebay for less than 10 bucks. There's no battery inside the charging cradle like the oem version but that's fine. Thanks for the vid.

    Dude, I am SO glad I found your channel and particularly your Gear S reviews and info!! You are my new Gear S GURU! Seriously, so glad I found ya! :) Great work on your research, knowledge and videos. I subscribed to yor channel even so please do keep 'em coming!
    I had that issue you'd mentioned with the charging cradle clip breaking and I've been meaning to call Samsung about it! So glad you'd mentioned it! In the future I hope they come out with an induction charger instead, that would be great!
    Keep enlightening people to the ways of the Gear S and I will as well. People as me too..."Is that an Apple watch, NO goodness no, I don't own an Apple watch, my watch IS a phone by itself, I say as I chuckle and keep walking, lol! :-S
    While I DON'T love the Tizen Platform, I do like my Gear S.
    Anyways, thanks man, again, keep up the great work edutaining the masses:)

      Sheryl Lynn Thank you very much for subscribing to my channel and taking the time to watch my content and commenting. yeah I ended up buying an additional cradle to use as a back up. I hope that they do something similar as what LG did. Its just sad that we have to answer that question due to samsungs lack of marketing on it , but hey, the fellow gear s owners who could see past the viel of apple will enjoy our awesome watches :)

      Thanks for your reply. I did have a few more quick questions for ya.
      1. Do u know how to put Google Search and Gmail on the Gear S aside from the Opera browser and the email client? I saw one video where the reviewer had both on his Gear S. I did ask him on his video but since you're so knowledge I thought I'd ask you too.
      2. And news of when the Gear s will have an Uber app?? Or do you know how to load an Uber app in to the Gear S?? It's the one thing, aside from not being able to use Google products that I'm waiting for. To be able to request an Uber from my watch would've a great convenience.
      Thank again for your awesome insight! ;)

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Sheryl Lynn 1. As of right now and my knowledge, there are no proprietary apps from Samsung that have made the Google Search compatible due to the difference in Tizen and Android wear. and I am safely assuming that Google is not being too friendly with it due to Samsung trying to undermine their own interface. I know that they are working on a major update to the OS but not sure when it will be released, but apparantly it will address alot of the app issues. As far as email client goes, the stock app is the one I still use for now. 2. I am waiting for that as well. Apparanlty they have a partnership in the works so we may have that capability soon :).

    I also have a tip I don't remember seeing in any of your videos. Media player widget on the Gear S can be used to pause, play videos and control volume on both Viral Pro and the UA-cam apps. And in the native video player you can use the fast forward and rewind features also. I'm using the Gear S and the Note Edge Verizon variants.

  • @SingerAuto1967

    I actually bought the gear s yeasterday, I've been with apple since the very first one. I switched to the Note 4 after being disappointed that my 6+ wasn't really a upgrade. There was a learning curve and I was agravated to say the least. I've grown to love the note 4. I used the gear s yesterday and boxed it up last night to take it back. The battery lasted me 6 hours. After all your videos about it I've decided to give it more time and change some settings. Hopefully I'm as happy with it as I am my note 4.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Joey Jordan I was in the same shoes as you, and it will take some time getting used to, but you will like it very soon and the note 4 is just a beast of a phone, I hope that you grwo to love it as much as I have. As for your Gear S though 6 hours is not right. So a few things to try, here are my settings:Mobile Data - "auto" (if you have the sim card regesitered) or "off"
      WiFi - Off
      Brightness - Auto
      Sound - Silent/Vibration
      Make sure to also close the apps completely using the app manager (press and hold the screen with 2 fingers for a few seconds to bring up that menu)
      With these settings, I get upto 2 days of charge. If you are not even getting past 6 hours then you can get an exchange from the store or samsung, becuase every few units or so has had a battery issue. I had one at first and ever since replacing I have not had an issue. It also comes down to the amount of use you have with it. Please let me know if this works out for you and if you have any other additional questions.

      LPX Tech the first day I used it I had it on cellular all day, I later found out that if I connect it to my note with Bluetooth it should help my battery. Going to try it again today and see how it goes. Thanks for the reply!

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Joey Jordan No problem. Yeah if you are going to be carrying around your phone then the mobile data should be on auto so the cell processor is not eatting up the battery.

    • @SingerAuto1967
      @SingerAuto1967 9 років тому +1

      Had it on for 6.5 hours today and its at 74% much better. Used the settings you suggested. How long did it take you to get used to using the watch instead of just picking up your phone? Also you have any experience with the JBL synchs reflect BT headsets?

    Another nice video to enjoy 8). I also fell victim to the broken battery cradle clip about a week ago. Bought the watch when it came out in Nov14. Right now I just use a chip clip to hold it during charging while I am asleep at night. That is really the only time I charge the gs. I ordered 3 cheap charging cradles not the oem battery combo cradle it is just a charging cradle and have one in my house/car/and carry around....lol....just in case I need a extra boost which is very rare, but you never know. You are also correct on the silent mode...my phone is always in silent mode until I go to sleep. Really there is no need to make noise if you are wearing the gs and I have mine on vibrate to alert me of something going on.
    As always keep up the great work.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Dual Nic Thanks for watching my videos as always :). Have you tried to contact samsung? They are sending me a whole new unit with a new cradle for my little mistake lol. Yeah seriously there is absolutely no need for the noises on the watch, the vibrate always gets my attention 100% of the time, while the ringtones can be missed just like the phones.

    Lol "The general public does not know about new technology until Apple releases it"
    So damn true, it's sad!!
    I get the same comments out in public when I'm wearing my Moto 360! "Is that the new iWatch?" And I tell them it sure is!! They're so oblivious, but it's expected.
    I like the gear s, but I don't need it!
    Love the review and the fact you are doing it 6 months later, not many people do that!!

      I definitely agree with this. The Apple Watch is trying to catch up to the Gear S, though I don't think it does anything as well as the Gear S. As for Milk Music, it is a stellar internet radio service, and with it right on my Gear S, I enjoy walking in the park with just the watch on my arm and my Bluetooth headphone set.
      I purchased my Gear S back in December via Verizon for $249.99, and I think it's the best smartwatch out there when compared with the $250 Moto 360 (the watch's original price) that can't do as much. Thanks for being a sound voice of reason for smartwatch buyers.

      LPX Tech I'm so honored you returned my comment. I spent yesterday watching some of your other videos on the Gear S and the LG Watch Urbane reviews for a total of about 3 hours. I agree with your sentiments about Samsung and their products. They do have the best products on the market, and it's a shame that the market is pushing for pretty form factors over the integration of form and function as it should be done.
      I think that Samsung should hire you, in my opinion. Samsung needs to have voices like yours to battle the voices on the Apple Watch. My Gear S has gotten the same response as yours has: "is it the Apple Watch?" I saw your "No, it isn't the Apple Watch" T-shirts, haha...I think they're excellent. You should grow the slogan into key chains, even smartphone cases with the slogan on it...you'd make millions. Your slogan actually makes sense to say, as opposed to some others out here that make little sense at all.
      I started following you a day or two ago at UA-cam, and I will do what I can to bring others to your posts. You definitely have a friend in me. I just wish that my Apple-loving friends had access to you. Don't worry: your UA-cam videos will get publicity, I promise :-)

      Deidre Richardson Thank you very much for taking the time to watch all my videos. Lol if they would only sponsor me haha, maybe one day if their marketing team understands how new media works one day lol. I might push that slogan again one day. I am still getting sick of being asked that question myself. I am goign to contiue to try and be a solid middle ground in the great tech wars, and hopefully me going fulltime to the channel will help. Thanks again .

    I like all your videos with Gear S! Here in Greece we have the same number in both devices with no plan. It consumes the data from your mobile. But if you want to have the stand alone mode of your Gear S you have to turn off your mobile, otherwise you turn on both of them and you speak from your mobile.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Giorgino16 Thank you very much for watching them. You can force the watch to be in standalone mode by just making the mobile data setting to always "on", but when it is in auto mode, the phone either has to be off or you just have to be far away from your phone.

    LPX Tech great vlog 👍👍👍👍👍..I personally like the gear S as well..certain features & apps IM NOT really into which can be said for phones too are.. s-health, air gesture, note taking, facebook,instagram, twitter etc.. all in all I really like it because to me its something unique in appearance & it can operate independantly,which is a plus in my book. I do have 2 questions about the gear S.. 1) Does it have an hourly chime,for when the clock changes to a new hour? 2) What does PSA stand for?.

    thanks for the advice on the cradle mounting.
    I totally agree with you on this watch, I don't use it for dumb things like watching videos on it or even playing games, that's what my Note 3 is for. But it does what it suppose to do, mainly notifications... I find myself in situations often where I really shouldn't pull my phone out because it may be unprofessional, or unethical, but yet I can read an entire message easily. This is coming from someone that owns the Geat Fit, Gear 2 Neo, and LG G Watch R (all those will be going on Craigslist lol)

      Ken Cheng No problem, it was definitely annoying to deal with haha. I feel you brother, I used to have all of those too, and this just does it the best right now. If it wasn't for this version I would have probably still held on to my gear fit. I loved that thing so much.

    • @KenCheng

      LPX Tech hey, quick question, you gave an advice on how to pop the charging cradle on in a safe way, but what about taking it off? Now I'm all paranoid about it. I live in Canada and oftentimes when buying stuff like the charging cradle would take weeks to ship (from overseas eBay sellers).

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      Ken Cheng Well they seemed to have designed it to come off the right way with the little handle being up top. The breaking issue is really only happening when people are rushing to snap it on with force. I think you will be okay, and even if it does break, it can still charge with the help of a rubber band. Trust me I did the rubber band thing for a few weeks, was annoying at first but by the time I got the new one I was already used to it haha.

    I had mine for a month. Sold it due to financial constraints for exactly what I paid for it. I would like to add that, I loved the fitness functionality, although have replaced what I used it for with a Jawbone UP24 and if anything for fitness functionality would say I prefer the Jawbone.
    I do really miss the call forwarding functionality, the ability to continue doing work whilst on the phone without having to have a bluetooth headset and of course notifications to my watch. Knowing if it is worth looking at my phone or if it is junk mail etc.
    The call quality I was really impressed with actually, even driving with the window down at low speeds through town people could hear me clearly.
    I would also like to note that I always got at least a full days charge out of it with fairly heavy usage.
    One last thing that I found a really fun feature, with people trying to 'frape' me when I have gone out the room. I used a remote camera app, which allowed picture and video recording WITHOUT the person using the phone knowing. A fantastic feature to catch out your friends WITH proof of who the culprit is. (shouting out to them to leave your phone alone can freak them out too if they are in process of a frape attempt)
    So I agree, I think it is a fantastic device, if I could afford to, I would get another in an instant!

      Steve Loczy Oh man, I am sorry to hear that man. Yeah the Gear S definitely had a lot of "nice to have" apps. And also suprised me on how well it actually worked. Seeing and now knowing what the samsung gear S2 has and does, I am still going with the gear S instead. I really beleive that the gear S2 wasn't an approved smartwatch compared to the gear S. eventhought i like the fact that the round bezzel is used to control the menus and option but that is it ( and also has nfc to do samsung pay ), it has no speaker, one cant do calls with it alone. It does have a nice designt though. It just missed so many things that one expected to have and be better than the gear S. It seems that the new gear S2 is more as a competitive watch to apples watch. I agree that the gear S is the best so far

    I have been reading about the contacts on the gear s corroding over time to a point where they stop working. Have you encountered anything like this yet? Are the contacts active while the gear s is away from the cradle? Could it possibly be the fact of residual sweat on the contacts reacting with the cradle when charging? New gadget but so many questions!

    I watched the full 27 minutes and was hoping u'd mention if making calls from the Gear S works with just bluetooth connection to the phone (no SIM card in the Gear S). Mine doesn't work. The outgoing call ends immediately. However, it works when my phone is unlocked. It's pretty dumb that i have to take out my Note 4, unlock it and keep it unlocked in order to make a call from the Gear S.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Jerry Yeo That should be like that that. When it is connected to the phone you shouldn't have to unlock your phone at all. For me I can make calls and text while keeping my phone in my pocket. You don't have a sim card correct? Is your mobile data setting on Auto? or is it on or off?

    • @JerryYeo
      @JerryYeo 9 років тому +1

      hey thanks for replying again LPX Tech. yea i don't have a SIM card for the Gear S so the mobile data is always off. It can't be switched on without a SIM card in it.
      If I transfer the SIM card from my phone to my watch, the watch works fine though.
      It does look like a bug or a software setting though. weird. no problems at all receiving and answering calls.

    Thanks for the update. Between your 3 month review and Flossy Carters review I went a bought it. Cracking bit of tech. I owned since day 1 the original Gear watch. Never let me down once. The Gear Solo just takes it to a new level. You just cant fault it. Call forwarding is seamless. The health apps work like a dream and I now try and sleep more as I realised I just cant function on the 5 and half hours I was getting....
    Battery life is 2 days all the time and I used blue tooth to head phones when out running or walking. In short, Samsung got this spot on, what they have done wrong is made is closed to Samsung only. Imagine if Apple made this watch?

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      mart Thanks for watching my video. I can't agree with you more. I can only imagine the reviews if apple had released this instead of samsung. It's sad people think my Gear S is the apple watch. people even say it looks better.

    I think the next Gear S (Gear S2?) will be round face, and while that may be the trend due to the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R, I have the G Watch R and I actually don't prefer the round face, you get a lot more usable viewing surface with a square/rectangular face like the Gear S. I'm pretty much going to sell the G Watch R (after it failed me several times on important notifications, including really important phone calls, yes I tried everything, resetting the phone etc etc)

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      Ken Cheng From what I am hearing they may offer the next model in 2 version 1 round and 1 rectangle. And I really hope they do, because I am not a fan of the round design as well. It just didn't work for me, it works for regular watches, but the current gear s is a perfect size for me.

    Do you use still use the Gear S, or something else? I had to decide between S2 4G and the Gear S 4G (AT&T). I decided on the Gear S, because I preferred the "smart device" look vs the watch (so I can still wear a watch and doesn't look like I have 2 watches on time to time). I really wish this thing had NFC for Samsung pay, and I'm not happy with the offerings of Tizen. (aftermarket apps truly suck). Combination of tizen and android wear would be the way to go. Just want your opinions on what you use now that it has been over a year since this thing came out.

      Thomas Gruber I apologize for the late reply. Thank you very much for watching my videos.
      Well I can tell you right now that over 8 months of owning this device that I have not seen or felt any battery capacity diminishing. and even if you do, the product warranty would cover it. But at the rate this watch has been going, I think that by the time I start to notice anything, I will be upgrading to the next watch. I haven't attempted to open the device myself to experiment with replacing the batteries, so I am not to sure on that end.

    In this past month, I have purchased 5 smart watches to test out. (Gear 1, Gear Live, Gear S, Asus Zen Watch, Pebble watch, and a Pebble steel. I have also purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 just to test out the TIZEN OS. so my conclusion is. Function wise, I love my Pebble Steel with my HTC One. But I am keeping the Gear S for my S4. HTC was my GO TO daily phone. After trying out the Gear S. I might switch Phone just because all the extra functions the Gear S provide. The only thing I dont like the Gear S is it looks kinda dorky. comparing to my Pebble Steel. And the TIZEN apps not as complete as the Pebble App store. However, Samsung can be use as a stand alone unit. So I dont need to bring my phone with me when I go for a Run, or riding my bike.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      Anthony Young I definitely feel you there. The design of the Gear S is definitely out of the norm and not for everyone, but that's why I like it. Although I like the steel bands from the pebbel and the LG G watch R, The Gear S 's band I can wear it all day no matter which activity I do. It is personal preference at the end of the haha. I loved the pebble that I had as well, but when I heard about the extra features of the Gear, I made the switch and haven't gone back. The standalone mode is definitely a nice thing to have, especialy when working out. Carrying my phone in the past was very annoying and I was always worried if I would drop it, but with the Gear S, I only go out with a pair of BT headphones.

My watch will be delivered today and I do want to use it away from my Note, will it still work? Or do I need to have the same carrier? So to that point, yeah unfortunately for the call forwarding to work, the sim card on the devices have to be on the same network for them to work properly. The remote connections on the devices seem to be very tempermental in that reguard. I had several people try and do what you are probably think, but to no avail. Now you could get a verizon version and get a seperate plan from your current one for it and that would work, but I don't justify the cost at that point. So in short, if you stay your course, you won't be able to use the mobile data or call forwarding for the Gear S in your current state, but as I said in the video, I only use it in that mode when I forget my phone, and when I goto the gym. It's nice to have when you do use it, but even I feel that a $10 charge for that is unecessary. In comparing to the Gear 2 neo though, I definitely like the Gear S alot more :) Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

      LPX Tech Thank you for such a quick answer and taking the time to answer. If I use immediate call forwarding from phone to watch, Will that at least work?

      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Mark Wersonick No problem, It's been getting tough keeping up with my comments lately but thankfully yours was right at top of my feed :). Are you asking if the call can still be answered and notified by the Gear S when it is connected to your phone? If so, of couse :). I have mine paired with my Gear Circles at the same time so when I see the call on the Gear S, I answer with the headset.

    Is there a way to use the Gear S on Straight Talk? I am considering the AT&T version and unlocking it. I currently have a Note 4 on Verizon and they will not activate one on their service without me giving up my unlimited data plan. So will Straight Talk work by itself or can the Gear S use forwarding from my Verizon phone to any of the prepaid service sims?

    So im on the fence about this or the Moto 360. Have you played with the 360?
    If i get the sim card version of the Gear S, and currently have a Note 4..ill have to have a new number just for my watch or share my cell number?

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Eric Iannone I have had the Moto 360, and I made a video on why I didn't like android wear overall - ua-cam.com/video/AhLf40OhBU8/v-deo.html BUT they did make a big update ua-cam.com/video/XVn9QGtPLSo/v-deo.html So I may have to give them a second shot. Yes you will get a new number for the Gear S, which you can give out to people. But the big advantage of the Gear S with the sim card is the standalone mode and the remote connectivity without the use of Wifi. With the remote connectivity and call forwarding, you won't have to give the new number out because calls to your phone will be forwarded to the Gear S. I go into detail about this in this video - ua-cam.com/video/-pAeLZxOuqk/v-deo.html

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Eric Iannone Between the R and the 360, I would go with the R. I had it for about 3 weeks and like it alot better than the 360.

    Is there a way to change the OS from Tisan into android wear?
    BR,

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      ontaher Not as of right now. One of the main issues is that Android wear does not support any standalone function like the Gear S Tizen can as well as the hardware.

    I have been using it for months now and its great, the only bad thing about it it has a very few good apps and when i go out for run and turn on the GPS and turn the music on it dosent stand for more than one hour and it take to much time till it finds the location of the GPS.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Mohammed Natheer I haven't had an issue when I go on runs with the GPS and streaming on, it uses more power but I definitely last more than an hour. Is it fine when they are off? Are you getting a 1-2 day charge?

    • @MohammedNatheer
      @MohammedNatheer 9 років тому +1

      not sure why but many times it take at least 20 min to find the GPS, took it back to the service and they had it for over three weeks and after that they told me we fixed it and you have to turn on the data on it so it finds the GPS !! i was very disappoint of them !!
      if I didn't use the GPS yes it stand for more than 2 days.

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Mohammed Natheer That was dumb of them. I guess it depends on your location. My Gear S with both the GPS and data on gets the signal in about 10-20 seconds. Well thankfully your battery seems to be okay. Which app were you using for the tracking?

    I have a major question which none of the big channels answered:
    How does Gear S works for navigating to you car at parking? it was shown in samsung's commercial but i couldn't figure it out...
    does it have to be connected to car via bluetooth? I will probably get disconnected as i reach 2nd or top floor of the mall or any big place like that.....
    do i need a car with Android Auto?
    do i have to leave my phone connected to it in car?
    or do i have to connect it with my car's GPS? which is not mainstream in India....so we don't have it inbuilt & also not available in market at good price/good reliability.........

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      Yash Lalluwadia Oh all you need to do is have the Gear S connected to your phone or be in standalone mode connected to the mobile network and having the GPS signal on. There is no need for any tech from the car.

    • @Yash1331
      @Yash1331 9 років тому +1

    • @Lpxstudios

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому +1

      Yash Lalluwadia OH! Now I understand your concern. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The car locator for the Gear S, doens't work well at all. I have tested a lot of times and it didn't end up working over 80% of the time. It may be refined in the new version of the watch, but currently, I dont recommend it.

    Why is the gear 2 still $299?

    • @Lpxstudios
      @Lpxstudios  9 років тому

      Kevin Stevenson I personally feel that it should be lower, but it's mainly due to the extra hardware that is still available on the Gear 2 that doesn't exist for the Gear S, like the camera and IR blaster.It still has a comparible screen and runs all the bells and whistles the Gear S does.
