And IRL Amraam worse than AIM 54 Phoenix by every metric (speed, range, maneuverability, payload) except one: AIM 120 is about 5 times cheaper to produce than AIM 54 (adjusting for inflation because AIM 54 are no longer made).

What would be fun would be getting the Mirage F1EM. This thing's a modernized F1 with access to laser guided bombs, AIM-9Ms and MICA IRs and EMs.
The JH-7A can also use PL-12s

@@actualsize123 JH-7A is a Strike Aircraft so maybe it shouldn't get PL-12's to keep it at lower BR for ... wait nevermind i just realized they are adding separate BR's for Ground and Air
So yeah they should give PL-12's to it and keep it lower BR in Ground Battles for CAS
@@kajmak64bit76 yeah with separate br’s there’s no reason to not give it missiles that only go on its heavy bomb pylons.
I want to expect that the last major updates of the year, we will have both of the delta wings fighter, the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Rafale, as the main vehicle for the update. But I highly doubt it will happen.
This actually makes sense I also think we could se the F18 too because of the rate of development the game is progressing at
@@whatev888i think its likely we see a legacy hornet this update. seeing as the fox3s werent in service til a few years after the first f18 models, and the june update has been “navy centered” the last two years i think we could easily see an f18 this update, hopefully we do
id be down for a eurofighter by the end of the year, but if we get that we will need strike eagles and super hornets to balance it out a bit, and cause of that idk that we will see late 80s early 90s planes tol next year sadly
WTF is Gajin going to do when they run out of gen 4 variants? The same old 5 minute top tier matches get old after a while. Gajin may have to seriously consider developing more game modes, if they want to keep their goose that lays the golden eggs, War Thunder, relevant by the latter end of the decade.

The Tornado ADV and The Harrier in the Italian Tech Tree can carry the AMRAAM, in the 80/90's when the gov brought the ADV it was used as a tester for the AIM-120 so they could actually add it
I mean also the Taiwanese F-16 MLU can carry amraam technically if i recall sometime in the early 2000s they were given the capability
The capability is always there. The US just didn't sell AMRAAMs because the export policy towards Taiwan meant that the ROCAF was to be cleared for ordnances that are marginally inferior to what the West in general was willing to export to the PLAAF until well after the end of the Cold War.

But that dark blue camo is only found on the 1st series of Su-27SM from 2003. Only the first 6 Su-27SM had that. None of them are in combat units of RuAF.
I hope they add a second option for camo, the ones found on the "production" version of the Su-27SM (also referred as Su-27SM2 sometimes), with the light blue tones 🥺

Getting tired of hearing about people saying they are going to leave the game when fox 3 gets added. It’s absolutely crazy the amount of people who refuse to learn a new mechanic and would rather complain lol but I’m actually excited.
Same! Having a legit competitor to the R27 is gonna be really nice. And all the new missiles for every nation is gonna make this the most balanced top tier patch in ages! And I already have a blast doing BVR in the F15A, with AMRAAM, it’ll just be even better! And the new engines for the F15C have better thrust curves than the A’s, so better acceleration at higher speeds is always welcome. I wish you the best of luck grinding out the new vehicles!

Well yeah because it's shown in the dev server. If the showed an image of them flying an F22 and talking about stealth aircraft coming soon, it'd be pretty safe to assume the f22 would be one of those incoming aircraft

Nope, the f15c and f15a have the same engine, the f15e has a more powerful engine but it’s a LOT heavier making its t/w worse
Still should be locked to 9Gs if Gaijin were remotely consistent on that point.
But it's American, so they just ignore the structural limitations outlined in the manual.

It was planned to be a platform able to carry MICAs but the project was stopped before it could be equipped with. Soooo it's an option, but highly unlikely

@@Vizabrinepersonally i think it’s likely we see a legacy hornet (prolly the f/a-18a+) this update. the first f-18a’s were made and used before fox3s were made, and when fox3s got their debut some f-18a had their radars upgraded to be compatible with fox3s, earning them the “a+” designation. with the last two years being navy centered june updates, i think it’s likely this is america’s (and maybe some ither countries) new fox3 jet, not just another f15 variant. and it wouldnt really disrupt the current power balance of the game rn anyways. fingers crossed 🤞

the Barak II will receive the Derby missile. The barak II is technically an F-16C/D variant. Its an F16-c two seater basically. SO it will be able to have the derby ARH missile.

Mirage 2000-5F MkII, Mirage 2000-9, Mirage 2000D R2, Mirage 2000D RMV... Lot of possibilities.
Well, it's just that the 2000-5F never really had a reason to be in the game aside from its potential to carry the MICA one day - it even had its BR raised pre-emptively to 12.3 at the time when Magic 2 wasn't downright demonic, and it couldn't carry 4 of them yet.

I'd be quite upset if ROCAF branch doesn't get Fox 3 and is instead made to transition into the J-10......

No it also has a bunch of other upgrades, but most importantly it will carry amraams and have tws, and no turkeyfeathers.
the f15c has better engines, upgraded radar for fox3 compatibility as well as tws, and i believe HMD as well.

The J10 could be added in its early A version at the end of the year, but I don't understand why people are asking for the Rafale and the Typhoon when these aircraft are arguably more advanced than the F18 super hornet even though we don't even have a early version of the F18 hornet in the game.

Since my premium time ends in a few days I’m just going to uninstall and not play until the Rafale is added. These past updates haven’t added anything interesting at all. So hopefully by the time the Rafale is in game there will be some cool new content

No. If you played WT long enough, you should`ve known - there will be no cool new content. Just more of the vehicles + powercreep, fox-3 existed for years on F-14, everyone knows what it can and cant do by now.
