Rana Nadeem is hilarious 😂😂 but I feel so sorry for them. 🤣 It was clearly disgusting, but they ate it out of respect. Got to love them for that. Give these men some cheesecake and $50! 😂
It looked like they had a tempura coconut roll (probably with crab and shrimp), a shrimp tempura roll, and something that's either pickled vegetable or fish with spicy mayonnaise. You can't go wrong with tempura rolls, but that first roll they tried was probably awful without soy sauce and/or poorly prepared fish.
It's lovely that even though it seemed like they didn't like the foods, they were good sports and tried to be complimentary and used sense of humor. Good guys!
Ah the wasabi, which I love and their reactions 😂. Even though that's not traditional Sushi. Good sports trying something different and with sticks🤪. Blessings to all. 😊🇱🇷
Raffique often looks so puzzled and betrayed. 😂 I think they were all very brave to try this. Extra points to Rana for trying to use the chopsticks in the proper way. 👍🏻
This is because most people dont eat real sushi their first try, they go to some crap little sushi bar and assume that is how all sushi tastes.. No, go to a high-end Sushi bar, eat some Fatty BlueFin Tuna sushi from a top of the line Sushi joint, then tell me you dont like sushi... It is so critical that the fish is the best of the best and fresh.
@@JonHop1 Somehow I doubt people already not confident in sushi are going to be willing to shell out on "best of the best" and "top of the line" _anything_ relating to it.
@@MrPoeGhost Well with Sushi specifically, you need to spend the money because most Sushi places outside of Japan have no clue how to make proper sushi, and their fish quality is just not up to par as all the good sushi quaility fish is reserved for Japan and high-end restaurants. Would you eat Kobe beef at McDonalds? I wouldnt... Would you eat a Lobster Dinner at a Chinese take out spot? I wouldnt..
All the people here saying they need soy sauce or wasabi or that the sushi might not have been fresh or its because the fish was raw......NOPE When they said so spicy there was wasabi in the roll. And 2 out of 3 of those rolls were cooked and the maki was doused in spicy mayo so it would do without soy sauce. I would bet 100% that none of these were the problems. The major (if not sole) problem was the sea weed. These guys are NOT used to seaweed, its chewy and its smelly and they've never had it before. Everyone commenting is so used to it that they don't understand but I'm Pakistani too and I remember the first time I had it (I love it now btw) PS never seen chaudry so disgusted before 😂 he usually likes most things
They were disgusted because everyone ate the gross one first, the first one (and the last one on most their plates they didn't eat either), are the universally disliked sushi, white rice, seaweed, and raw fish, no one likes that shit. But the bigger colored middle one most people like.
Even things with spicy mayo get dipped in soya sauce. I eat sushi regularly and I get eal, salmon, tuna, snapper, and other fish, all dipped in soya sauce. And ginger root is a palette cleanser.
Well I think is a food that grows on you. I remember the first time I ate sushi I didn’t like it. I think because in my country fish is expensive and we are not really used to eating fishy foods. I now love it. I love their reactions.
It was crappy sushi... Real sushi is nigiri.. With top of the line fish like Bluefin Tuna and Salmon belly. At high-end Sushi joints, the seasoned rice alone is so good you could eat it by itself lol..
@@JonHop1 watch Jiryo dreams of sushi. World famous sushi, high end, still use soya sauce because the taste balance was designed around dipping into it.
Rana is my favorite, that dude full sends it every single time he doesn't care hahaha. He also was dedicated to using those chopsticks no matter how tricky. Great video
Oh you guys are so sweet. Everyone reacts to sushi the first time like this. Don’t worry 😉 your perfectly normal. Sushi 🍣 is my favorite food but I too had to learn to love it. When my husband and I first started going to a sushi place we always order Dynamite, a rice casserole with scallops and Dynamite sauce. We watched what other people ordered and each time we went to a sushi restaurant we tried something we saw other people ordering. I do sashimi now because I can’t fit big rolls in to my mouth 😄 I like to order sashimi, miso soup and tempura vegetables. My Dad’s go to thing is sashimi salad 🥗. My husband likes spicy dragon roll and vegetable rolls. Oh the rice has a vinegar and sugar dressing in it. That’s what makes it sticky sweet and sour. Sushi is only one type of Japanese food. There are many hot dishes as well like Japanese 🍛 curry.
I had that same reaction when I tried it for the first time and I legitimately thought that the texture is probably not for me. I gave it a shot once again in college and now sushi is one of my favourite dishes!
Love this channel. I identify with these people. Their kindness they're graciousness their opinions and their reactions are very very true to themselves. And in a way isn't that all you can ask of anyone to be true to themselves and if they are you can understand and go forward and appreciate that or you can agree to disagree and go forward and still appreciate that.
in serbia we cook rice and minced meat with seasoning and a little sauce wraped in grape leaf or cabage leaf and then it goes in the owen to be cooked slowly.. also with yogurt but its better with sour cream. It's called sarma.. sounds similar but you use fish
To be fair when I was young that was my first take on Sushi. then as I grew older and explored various dishes and traveled more. I began appreciating the freshness of their dishes and how you could feel it coursing through every cell of your body. The cleaner you eat and the more fresh of what you eat it can really boost your health, stamina, and life longevity. Your palate begins to grow and your tongue becomes more sensitive to other tastes you probably couldn't taste before because everything in the U.S. is saturated with salt and if not corn syrup.

As a former sushi chef, I can say that I believe that’s in order to really enjoy sushi, you have to want to like it. It’s a very strange food to begin with and it’s definitely not for everyone, but approaching it with an open mind helps a lot.
First time i had smoked salmon was on a plane ,disgusting. Then i tried Sushi, disgusting. On hoilday in Greece my husband was eating green olives, i tried one, disgusting. My husband said olives are an acquired taste so i acquired the taste of SS,S and Olives all so yummy.
This is also american sushi. Ive had sushi all over the world and nothing tops how weird it can get than salsa sushi in Guatemala XD. There's just such high variance from wherever you go and how landlocked they are. It's hard to tell whether or not you don't like sushi, or you just got bad sushi.

Cool to see reactions to others' way of nutrition.
One world, love those around you and enjoy each other. Takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown.
I love their perspective. Sushi has to look absolutely strange and alien, and the wasabi and ginger definitely threw them for a loop.
I love the old guy saying, "They must have cute names in Japan" or whatever, LOL.
He was so excited to try sushi, thinking it was a delicious and delicate desert, and ended up hating it. lol
I swear this made my day! 😂😂😂😂. I started watching these videos 1 day ago and I can’t stop watching them! I guess watching some very humble people eat things we eat everyday and the reactions they give are priceless! Keep making these videos, you have 1 more new subscriber!
Thanks for making me laugh out loud. This is the best one yet🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
You guys are a gift ❤️ Thank you for all that you do to bring us these videos!
Speeding up/ changing Rana’s voice was hilarious! Love these guys so much.
Yeah, that was funny, helium Nadeem.
The kind, humble, gentle nature of these men is always enjoyable to watch. Would love the pleasure of meeting them.
Rana Nadeem is hilarious 😂😂 but I feel so sorry for them. 🤣 It was clearly disgusting, but they ate it out of respect. Got to love them for that. Give these men some cheesecake and $50! 😂
😂
Oh the cheesecake video is one of their best! They deserve a whole cheesecake each after enduring this taste test!
03:12 The moment his smile turns into crossed eyebrows in 3... 2... 1! 😂Too funny!🤣
I feel bad for Chaudhary. He thought it was going to be something sweet 😂😂
@@dThapa966 Me, too!😂 I also feel *really* badly for him when they give him something spicy, _knowing_ that it hurts his stomach.
I think they were all very brave to try this. Extra points to Rana for trying to use the chopsticks in the proper way. 👍🏻
I love the honesty. If they like it they show it. If it's terrible they do not lie. And sushi is terrible, LOL
What great sports the men are! Honestly, wasabi is pretty great to clear your sinuses when you have a cold or allergies.
I absolutely loved their reactions. Very hard to try sushi for the first time but they all did terrific!
This series is absolutely amazing, I’ve been binging all the videos. Very wholesome and hilarious 😂
Get these guys some soy sauce! Also I giggled at the Chinese music in the background while eating Japanese food :P
The Chinese music represents their utter confusion as they face this very exotic food
Oh my goodness I am sonsorry for them but am laughing so hard! I love these guys so much!
hahahahahaha "I eat sushi first time, now my mouth taste has turned bad" You're not the only one, man. lol
I wouldnt..
@@JonHop1 You also need fresh fish! Some places are just not going to be able to get it.
@@JonHop1 Endangered species, I'm not eating that expensive shit.
You guys are great! Such real reactions and facial expressions. Sushi is an acquired taste for certain. I love your videos!! Keep up the good work!
Wao. These people seem so pure and whole hearted. Totally different from what any stranger can offer you at a developed country.
All the people here saying they need soy sauce or wasabi or that the sushi might not have been fresh or its because the fish was raw......NOPE
When they said so spicy there was wasabi in the roll.
Everyone commenting is so used to it that they don't understand but I'm Pakistani too and I remember the first time I had it (I love it now btw)
PS never seen chaudry so disgusted before 😂 he usually likes most things
😂😂😂😂😂 this was so funny to watch their facial expressions 😂😂😂 sushi is my favourite food and I’m picking some up for tonight soon ♥️♥️♥️
Nope, Sorry but Sushi 🍣 is simply Trash 🗑, funny thing is that back in the past, sushi was considered as a Peasent food.
This is probably one of the best ones you guys have! ALSO, mixing the sushi with wasabi and/or soy sauce makes a BIG difference in the taste!
They didn't like the sourness because of the wasabi
Wasabi is fucking disgusting
It’s a spice.how disgusting can a spice be?😂
Yes, it hides the taste!😏
@@c.odubhlaoich2948 Most likely the sourness they tasted was the vinegar that is used to make sushi rice
This was great! I have been loving all of tour videos!
I love their creative way with the chopsticks 🤣 I'll have to remember that next time I'm struggling with them...just stab it! Fantastically funny!
I loved their reactions! The poor dears.🌹
This was awesome they are so sweet!!! I couldn’t stop laughing made my day thank you. They are great sports at least they tried it.
We need a South Asian Sushi version ...spicy fried fish between basmati pulao rice, wrapped in grape leaf with a side of tandoori yogurt dip!
Wow, that sounds great!!😋
can relate with you there, i love how they prepare this, but our Indian stomach can digest a lot but raw fish aint in the list.
Sounds delish
@@dreamstate5047 Yea well us Americans aren't really game for it either unless your from NYC or LA. Fry it till it's dead or don't put it on my plate.
in serbia we cook rice and minced meat with seasoning and a little sauce wraped in grape leaf or cabage leaf and then it goes in the owen to be cooked slowly.. also with yogurt but its better with sour cream. It's called sarma.. sounds similar but you use fish
If sushi is tasteless or sour, y'ain't doin it right! 😂 Love their reactions. I've not seen kind Mr Chaudhary dislike something so much 😂
To be fair when I was young that was my first take on Sushi. then as I grew older and explored various dishes and traveled more. I began appreciating the freshness of their dishes and how you could feel it coursing through every cell of your body. The cleaner you eat and the more fresh of what you eat it can really boost your health, stamina, and life longevity. Your palate begins to grow and your tongue becomes more sensitive to other tastes you probably couldn't taste before because everything in the U.S. is saturated with salt and if not corn syrup.
watch out for them parasites
@@dirt420 Farmed Salmon don't have parasites. They live off dry feed.
@@actionanimations4879 yes only wild caught had become it eat smaller animals that had already been infected and wild one has more muscle because it moves rased had more fat so It is soft when used raw
I felt so bad for laughing at their confusion in tasting this dish. While personally, I love sushi it's certainly an acquired taste and not everyone will like it. I really appreciate these men for giving different foods from other countries a try regardless of whether they liked it or not. Bravo to them!
Yes they even keep eating how great. On some other countries people wouldnt do that
well its supposed to me consumed with different sauces , they were eating direct sushi which is bland
then u are sick. how can someone like raw meat. are u an animal
@@svs9610 read about Sentinel Island, and only then comment on food. there are so many cultures in the world that luckily no one will pay attention to your complaint
@@svs9610 and yes, we are animals like everyone else
My Mum had the same expression they did when she tried sushi for the first time!! I can't stop giggling! But they are much more open-minded than she was! 😄🥰
because they got paid
your mom did it for you or curious
@@Mizari27 honestly, I don't know what possessed her to try it...I'd given up trying to get her to try it years before. At least I never had to share my sushi...lol!!
I laughed so hard. They're gonna have trust issues with anything sushi related now. 🤣🤣🤣
Chaudhary on the thumbnail 😂😂 the way he eats with chopsticks 😂
6:51 Gull Sher's face turning into a "Mr. Yuk" sticker - poor man still processing the pickled ginger 🤣
I love how they say Shushi!! It's the best! Sushi is so good. You have to put a tiny bit of wasabi in a little bit of soy sauce mix it up to dip your sushi in. Also it was great when they tried wasabi. You guys are awesome!
Shushi is something else completely, can’t remember what though
I love all of these men!!! Their eyes are so bright and happy and they are all so genuine and sweet!!! 🧡💚💛🤎💜💙❤️
The sheer desperation on their faces after eating the first and knowing there was more. I think I’ve seen that look on my kids’ faces. 😂 But they tried it all. Kudos to them!!!
Their reactions are sweet and genuine. Such good to always see them thanking every bite they put on their mouths even if they are unsure of it. :D
Being someone who likes sushi, I very much enjoy watching people who don't.
I feel the same about Vegemite😅
Vegemite just tastes like soy sauce and celery salt, maybe with some bready yeasty notes. Nothing too intimidating. I don't get it's reputation, I'm American and didn't grow up eating it but I like the stuff. I love salt so maybe that's it.
i died from laughter they are all so cute and nice mashallah, i love how open they are on trying new things . they are all so funny but the man who keeps saying bismallah before eating had me dying with how much time it took him to swallow the first piece and how he stayed silent whilst eating ,the confusion on his face is so funny
As a former sushi chef, I can say that I believe that’s in order to really enjoy sushi, you have to want to like it. It’s a very strange food to begin with and it’s definitely not for everyone, but approaching it with an open mind helps a lot.
True, but you should also provide high quality sushi to truly experience the essence of sushi and that Maki looks far too pressed.
First time i had smoked salmon was on a plane ,disgusting. Then i tried Sushi, disgusting. On hoilday in Greece my husband was eating green olives, i tried one, disgusting. My husband said olives are an acquired taste so i acquired the taste of SS,S and Olives all so yummy.
and served hot
I constantly try to find someone who has Madai it is a very difficult sushi to find but man it is soooo good.
This is also american sushi. Ive had sushi all over the world and nothing tops how weird it can get than salsa sushi in Guatemala XD. There's just such high variance from wherever you go and how landlocked they are. It's hard to tell whether or not you don't like sushi, or you just got bad sushi.
Oh you poor men, given something that tastes so strange. Your reactions were identical to mine when I first tasted sushi. My son keeps encouraging me to eat it though and now I'm starting to like it.
