Great to listen to your update Loz, as always. As someone else illuded to, time just seems to stand still while watching, well according to your wall clock anyway! All the best mate.
Good idea to work in someone else's workshop in Penrith that I assumed was heated. Just the other side of the Pennines here in West Yorkshire has rained non-stop since October so not much woodworking done as glue and finish won't dry well. Had a couple of dry days in January but the garden was too frozen to even pick up fallen branches! Brrrrrrrr... Half way through a small cabinet but too cold to film it! Glad to see you getting things sorted.
Hi Loz, Good to see doing well, I think we are all as bad as each other for moving benches around, I’ve been using a Diesel Heater in my workshop for a few months now it’s great for small space,
Thanks for sharing Malcolm ! I do believe the little diesel heaters are supposed to be the most economical? I was put off by the set up with an exhaust vent and storing more flammables 😵💫
You're getting there that's the main thing. I haven't even started my workshop yet hope to have the hard standing done in the next few weeks then its a case of dismantling the gifted shed and reassembling it here, then moving my tools out of the old shed and setting up 😮
Good to see you in the workshop. Neat idea with the ali bar too!. Doing some carving indoors at the minute but the weather will soon be better for workshop adventures. All the best mate.
It looks a bit chilly there Loz but you do move around a lot, which should keep you warm. lol. I hate those planers, got rid of mine it used to frighten the life out of me.
yup, the fence is so flimsy it doesn't hold the 90 deg line - which is what you want 99.99% of the time and the cutter guard is too flimsy and fiddly to adjust it can lead to the finger nibbling I experienced! its going to be retired once I have a jointer sled set up for the table saw.....
Awesome problem solving there Loz. Why no drill a couple holes in the end of the MFT and mount a pair of swivel castors for moving it about ? The weather in Perthshire is no the best for working in the backyard 'shop' either. Bought a new tool for taking apart the pallets. Works a treat, so it does. The missus cannea mind why I want to build a plate rack, (started but a long way to go yet,) as a cook, I hate putting hot food on a cold plate! So, getting them out fea under the counter and up on the wall is a great start. Plans in the works are, a blanket box with a hidden bottom drawer and a bathroom vanity. Take care & stay safe.
good idea with the castors Doug! that's on my to do list as I have some.... somewhere! 🤣. I've got a pallet puller too, but the pallets round where I am are so flimsy it just splits them in use...😳
Hello Loz, great to see you back in your workshop codgering again, by the way, your clock has stopped 🤣🤣🤣Take care and have fun. I lost the top of one of my fingers many years ago, a Stanley knife bit me, it did grow back to some extent though. Good luck Sir and I'll be here waiting for the next episode. 👍
Hi Loz! Glad to see you’ve made progress with your table saw modifications and glad to hear the courses are going well. I can definitely identify with spending my day moving stuff around. Look forward to the next update.
Welcome back Bill.... and same to you!. yup, the why's /wherefores of sub cancellations by UA-cam aren't transparent, as is putting adverts into my vids way before I qualify to get ad revenue myself( not that I'm going to anyway)
Hi Loz, great to see you at it fella! I may have missed it, but how are you going to use your table saw mitre slots buddy? Presumably you’ll cut through the extrusions?
Thanks for the update Loz, glad to hear you're making progress with the Incra set up, I'm sure it will be worth it in the end !
Absolutely, still on my to do list, just got sidetracked by other stuff this week....
Great to listen to your update Loz, as always. As someone else illuded to, time just seems to stand still while watching, well according to your wall clock anyway!
All the best mate.
Thanks for that...... yeh, about the clock: I keep putting batteries in it and the cold kills them next day..... need better batteries I think!

Hey Steve! I keep putting batteries in it and they keep dying.... ( tho I admit I keep resetting the time to get comments!"🤣
Hey Loz, I, unfortunately have a great many bits and bobs on the backburner. Good to see you and catch up. Bob (Weston super Mare)
having a back burner is good ..always something ready to dust off and have a go when you feel like - rather than be slave to a programme....😏

Thanks John. 👍
Hello Loz and great to see you and watch video of great progress in workshop and box with hinges to
Glad you enjoyed it.. more waffle incoming soon.
Great to see you back in the shed, you might need to mention that UA-cam had unsubscribed me from your channel
All the best
Bill

hahahahahahh... oh Bu$$er! 🤣.... next job on my list?
@@GrumpaLoz hopefully the holes in both the extrusion you added and the Incra extrusion won’t stop the fence working!
Making progress Loz, well done.👍👍
