    Honestly I hate the fact that at 5:00 you said “some knowledge bout to be kicked” like buddy the video isn’t about a white guy dissing a black guy and the black guy putting him to sleep, it’s about a black guy who has enough knowledge and sense to understand what problems are on both sides of the plain so why be biased?

      The white guy gave it to him so the black dude is about to respond and he’s keen to hear it. I was too, why make a big deal of that? Did you watch it all?

    Both guys were equally racist. You weren't supposed to side with either one, because they both contained stereotypes. That's the point, two people with extreme views can get over it and realize they're all just human at the end of the day.

    • @berniehoe9960
      @berniehoe9960 6 років тому +8

      First Last not true. Joyner wrote this as dialogue between two extremes, in an attempt for both sides to hear each other out. It’s all in this article.
      edition.cnn.com/2017/11/29/entertainment/joyner-lucas-not-racist-video-trnd/index.html
      Joyner didn’t write this as a black guy owning a white guy or a white guy owning a black guy. You missed the point of this video. It’s about dialogue, and seeing the flaws and truths in both sides. Both sides had arguments that were true, both had arguments that were flawed.

    I'm white. I live in Canada. I like black people. I felt some type of way about what the white dudes part was about. Bruh we white we aint gotta worry bout nothin that black people gotta worry about. Being white I have nothing to complain about. I feel like the lgbtq community have gotten too much attention and too many rights too quickly when we should be focusing on racism. Lgbtq people need to get in line, yall aint the priority bruh. Again, I'm white and I dont agree with how America treats black people. Shit needs to change its way overdue. Hopefuly this video can spark something. This needed to happen though.

    Both sides were using stereotypes, remember that. It's easy to see from the white guy, because he's white, but some of the things the black guy was saying isn't true or is taken too far too.

    2 years late watchin your reaction. Lol my bad.. but for real my favorite reaction (out of 100 plus) from a black man. Obviously I’m a white man. You nailed that shit though. People need to talk to each other. We all lost the values of humanity. I wanna ramble forever on this 2 year old video but I won’t. 1 love y’all 🙏❤️🍻

    Legit all ive see is either a white guy or black guy in their reaction being offended about what the other race is saying but then side with theirs, what both of them are saying is fucked up, and thats the point joyner was trying to make, hes throwing back and forth stereotypes that both races say about each other. The point to the song in my opinion is that this will never go away unless we decide to take time to understand each other or agree to disagree.

    I am not one to label myself but I will to put this in context .Im.a middle age white male Trump supporter I am a Democrat but voted for Trump . I came across this video surfing UA-cam found it to be very well done and even made me think even though I do not listen to this type of music. the meaning behind this solidified my uderstanding about cultural relations in our country. let me explain the core of the issues as I see it is people stereotype putting individuals into a collective. I can only speak on my experiences with that said race is not a factor in my political views or neither how I treat or judge a individual.I don't hear anything like what the white guy said that doesn't mean people feel that way .This is the big complaint I have and hear from other people I talk with let me give you an example... if you are a idiot you're not a idiot because you're black you're a idiot that just so happens to be black .Some people are so quick to say THAT'S RACISTS!!!! and only focus on the identity of the person with no rational discussion on why he is a idiot.

    • @PoohCyggTV
      @PoohCyggTV  6 років тому

      i get your point sometimes people can chalk up criticism from a different race and appoint it to racism

      things that changed my mind was protesting my protest is disrespectful and the fact that just because a black person didn't go threw slavery his grandparents had and it hurts him .never looked at it that way .That hits home for me I love and respect my grandparents too. good stuff thanks for putting up this video and responding to my post .

    There are three sides to every story, yours, mine and the truth. This is just calling out the disconnect between races and calling attention to the fact that at the end of the day, regardless of race - we are all human.

    This artist is very clear about the message he is giving, and it's not positive towards black people. He has the white guy say, "with all due respect". He has the black guy say, "with all disrespect". "I don't pity you" from the white guy, "I don't really like you" from the black guy. He has the black guy alone getting violent by throwing the chair, slapping the hat off the white guy's head, and throwing over the table. He has the black guy say, "die nigga" to the white guy. The artist is saying that white people think black people are capable equals, worthy of respect and not deserving of pity while black people are violent, hate white people, and want for them to be destroyed. It is pretty clear.
