While I hadn't initially planned to upload this video, the current build has been taking much longer than anticipated. I've been pouring my efforts into building an electric rail car, and if all goes to plan this weekend, you can anticipate seeing that video drop next week. I'm stoked on it!
That was kind of a shame, if you had bought a proper built ice Tire by Fredette or Rosine, it would hook up better on the ice than you do on the street on a warm summer day. 😔 The angle and clocking of each ice stud in each area of the tread on the front and rear tire makes all the difference
I really enjoy your spirit and imagination. I love how the pig has become this bellowing beast. Looking more and more the part every video. Take your time on your other projects! Don't stress, we will be here.
Matt, watching you ride gloveless in sub-freezing temperatures made my hands get cold! LOL I'm telling ya, Toyota needs to hook you up with a new truck. Your channel is the best Toyota truck commercial I've ever seen!
Piggy is looking as good as ever. I love that you are taking a GoldWing , of all bikes, to take it to the extreme and Piggy has kept up with every challenge because she's a HONDA. Haha, who goes ice fishing on a Goldwing and then builds a fire inside a tent ? You do.
As a kid, I used to put used chain around my moped tire and grind sharp triangular edges on it. That was fun and it had a decent grip. Sideways grip was awesome. Just deflate the tire, make the chain right length, being as tight as possible on empty tire. Then inflate it again. As a bonus, when spinning the wheel on asphalt, you get nice shower of sparks.
Dude, just happened upon your vids yesterday, loving the more raw/real aspect and your obvious enjoyment is infectious. Making me miss home though (WY, did college in Bozeman though), haven't found anywhere away from the Rockies that can hold a candle. Hope you feel like (and have the means to) keep this up. I'm really digging what you're putting down.
Dude I love everything you do but I am astounded that you haven't managed to get your leg caught under that thing and break it yet. Be safe out there! Can't wait to see what's next.
A friend of my family's, rode a goldwing 12 months a yr...in Ontario Canada...he was 400lbs if he was a ounce,so he didn't get cold....lot of snow here tho! Always entertaining videos man!
I now live where it's warm but grew up ice fishing with my Dad , the tent and stove were definitely the hot ticket , next time use the drill bit like a corkscrew to pull out the chunks 😊 glad you slid on the high side , because it would of been bad if you didn't
The goldwing right her with its miserable condition looks absolutely so fucking beautiful. I don’t know exactly what it is but the length is so amazing and the handwheels are perfect. This is amazing. You make me wanting to buy a new brand one and convert it and adventure dirt motorcycle
I love all the crazy rides you've made on the Goldwing. I think you should fix it up more and put the panels back on. Make the stereo work while conducting more stunts. Just a thought.
Hey Matt have you been on a Rokon? They're slow as anything but won't quit I've never ridden anything that climbs like those things. Would be cool to see a torture test on one of those
@@MattSpears I haven't looked into it but it can't be that tough to get a better engine in one without adding much weight. Someone has probably done it I'm guessing.. if not maybe delete this and just say shout out to "someone" if you do it!
This guy rides a gold wing better than I can ride a mountain bike. Amazing. P.S. Be careful Matt, you are getting older now...I can tell because you have the same affliction we old guys call "forgetting to zip your fly". 1:26 (Not that I was looking, but not that there is anything wrong with that.
If you want to cut ice with chainsaw, you need to tweak the chain by grinding all the limiters off between cutting blades. Don't use that chain on the wood after that, because it'll be dangerous. With ice, it's totally OK and needed if you want to actually cut it. Instead of grinding it forever, you'll cut half meter thick ice about one meter per minute.
You have any tool batteries you can jump start your 12 volt vehicle with it just need to use heavy thick connectors from tool battery.I like using old kitchen utensils like forks. Try it remember its more volts so only connect temporarily until start up . Hope you try it . let me know if it works for you. Thanks Dale
😂 You're doing great Matt. Hang in there. Don't hurt you self.. In 6 months we need a new Secretary of Transportation... No one can do more with less and America's falling apart ... You're up! 👌

Oh man, I can only imagine what crazy stunts you gonna pull off next. Stay safe

Either way the worst day on the ice is better than the best day at the office😂
As you should be man keep killing it I'm impressed. Sometimes I hate youtube but your stuff is great don't change if you hit it big!
yay! sounds awesome matt!!!! :3
looking forward to it! ^w^
The flat six from that goldwing will always be one of the best engines ever
Sounds even better in person
Jep, how much I hate that Goldwing but that engine is the best ever!
Your videos always put a smile on my face. Thanks for taking us along for the ride on your crazy adventures :)
Glad you like them!
Seeing you take off your boot and start whacking the brake lever was the funniest thing I've seen all week
hahaha, boot got it done
I sort of get Canadian vibes watching this. Looks fun once you have everything set up. That little stove is a gem.
Stove was the MVP

That would be so epic!
The highside ejection was like a glitch in the matrix..the hit looked so hard....then you stand up 30 ft away was bizarre lol.!
Just glad piggy didn’t go through the ice 😂
right lol
You just have the best positive energy. Always feel better after watching your videos. Plus you can ride super well!
He must be some kind off "King of motivation" make me feel the same 😊
This guy must hold the record for most goldwing lifts!

A cool, casual high-side off the Goldwing to start the vid... can't wait to watch the rest later!
This guy needs to be your cameraman and commentator from here on out! His commentary and one-liners are hilarious!
I was so engrossed in this video that when it ended I was like, "Huh? It's over already?" 😢
Gave the quote, "A pig on ice" a whole new dimension.
L😂L 👍
"Foilin' up, coach!" 😂🤣😂 Let Kev know that I caught that, and it made my day!
Great video, bro! 💪🏼 Keep up the amazing content! 🫡 #LongHairDontCare
Kev is the BEST
It's always a good day when you find another video from Matt. I love your sense of adventure
Cant Kill a Gold Wing. I wish there cars were that good..

Stove worked perfect! I could have gone without the high side lol
I don't think I could handle my Goldwing on ice! You're a king!
bro your killing it!! keep up the great vids
Thanks man!

Another excellent video sir. Well done and thank you.
Thank you! Cheers
I'm here to tell you, that bike did indeed look better at one time. 😉
Loving seeing the videos.
I think so too! Since it has lasted this long I have to believe it was taken very good care of.
The pan down for the downed fly was diabolical
Getting to where I cant wait for the next video Matt N Kev Real ones! I think i am slowly getting convinced how awesome goldwings really are! :D
More to come! Right on!
Gotta love Ugly Stik! Never had a problem with their rods except an old fiberglass one I had that was older than me which snapped on a big fish.
I'm jealous of Bud Lily's vintage Ugly Stick combo. Nice find! HAHA
Another great adventure! Thanks!😎
Glad you enjoyed it
Yeeeees, new Piggy Videos ❤️❤️❤️
Glad you like them!
As always, this video was good for laughs. Well done buddy.
You young man. Have an excellent attitude.
lmaooo i can not believe how many episodes and how much fun your having with this goldwing 😂👌🏻
Another banger of a video
Nothing like spending time with a friend in the wild eating soup and ice thrashing on bikes ❤
Hey Matt have you been on a Rokon? They're slow as anything but won't quit I've never ridden anything that climbs like those things. Would be cool to see a torture test on one of those
I was just looking at picking up a Rokon for videos! Bit out of the budget right now, maybe in a few months.
@@MattSpears I haven't looked into it but it can't be that tough to get a better engine in one without adding much weight. Someone has probably done it I'm guessing.. if not maybe delete this and just say shout out to "someone" if you do it!
siempre es un placer ver estos vídeos es adrenalina pura gracias 😁👍🏍️🧉🐺🇺🇾
Nothing more refreshing than high siding on ice. 👍🏻
id love to see a turbo or supercharger on that goldwing.. dont know if its possible though
I would love to put a turbo on it!
8:01 until 8:20ish is the ASMR i didn’t know i needed
Ratchet strap to bead the tyre - brilliant idea.
You guys are flippin´ awesome!

This is defo living the dream
Definition of happiness.
Bros not human.
He’s wearing no safety, no jacket, no gloves… in the middle of winter.
He’s got balls
Honda should take you on for testing.
Anything that breaks obviously needs beafing up.
Huge coconuts. When you think you are the coolest guy in the parking lot and then this guy shows up.
What Lake is this !
Great video.
Best Wishes from Ireland
I love your video’s! I hope you become a house hold name.
When I hear the cracking of the ice, it's time to go home. 😮
You definitely deserve more subs
That’s crazy I should try that out with my goldwing? Someday I plan to visit my son in Vancouver he loves to go fishing too.

That Gold Wing sounds good with no mufflers.
Yeah man! You the craziest mofo I've ever seen. That's a compliment. Good job Speario
I appreciate that!
Beautiful
Oh my god you are so fun!
You guys are in my neck of the woods. I want a zombie goldwing so bad now.
Ohhhh ye!
Fun episode!
👍🏻👍🏻
What kind of stove is that? It’s so small but versatile!
Awesome work.
breaking so many goldwing records
your videos are great!!!!!!
Yo Matt, if you but potassium pmangonate and glycerine you can use them to make fire
High siding a Goldwing with studs on a frozen lake - amazing!
You guys are animals. I love it!!
"Good hole, Kev." Something I'd think twice about saying. 😂
😂 You're doing great Matt. Hang in there. Don't hurt you self.. In 6 months we need a new Secretary of Transportation... No one can do more with less and America's falling apart ... You're up! 👌
bro just does shit i love this channel it’s like og youtube
When i clicked the video i thought........THIS will be the one where we finally see some gloves on him! NOPE
Piggy!! I love you
Sure I don't like gloves either but how do you deal with the cold o.O
you push the ice chunk down and below the ice!
you are good to go everywhere on the planet 🌏 🌏
Wait.. why did you remove your gold wing’s battery, and then have someone jump start your truck, when you had a jump pack the entire time?
U r living my dream man u awesome
how large was the studs? looking to get some for my self next winter
the best part of the video was using a ratchet strap to set the bead on the tire. that's a great hack!
That thing is seriously hard to kill!
U need double the studs in the back as the front I mean u don't have to but it helps
