    I did it, with a 4" hook and Bernat Satin Yarn, excellent for a newborn to 3 month perhaps! Love the result, thank you very much for the tutorial!

    I did it! Thanks to your tutorial, I attempted my very first "outfit" for my baby boy...only I used a different yarn (some yarn I had left over and needed to use before buying some more) and it is therefore fitting more for a 3-6 months old baby haha, but I'm still happy about the outcome. Thank you so much for your tutorial :)

    I've made 5 or 6 of these rompers and I absolutely love them. If I need a smaller or larger size I change the hook size. Your instructions are clear and I followed along easily. Thank you for sharing this pattern ❤️

    I love this pattern! I extended the crochet area on both sides (2 rows on the back and 1 row on the front) and left them unconnected so I could install snaps for easy diaper changing. :) Perfect!

      If you haven't finished yet, let me make a suggestion as someone with 3 kids in diapers. You want to be able to open it at the bottom so you can change the diaper without removing the entire outfit. Put some buttons in instead of attaching the bottom flaps together.

    I just finished mine today and it is very small. A new born could fit in it for sure, but not for very long! My stitch count was off, though I swear I counted correct chains haha probably my mistake- still a beautiful piece and I love it!

    I used a k hook for a bigger size and chained loosely and it looks like a better fit for a new born. The first one I made it was looking like it was for premie that's why I used a bigger hook.

  • @beeclassy4867
    @beeclassy4867 6 років тому +3

    There are some issues with this tutorial, however, it’s not as harsh on the eyes and ears as other videos, the instructor has a soft voice and she puts the instructions on the screen simultaneously, which makes it that much easier to find your place if you pause/rewind/fast forward the video. TIP: use a 5 mm hook when you chain 36, then back to 3.5 mm hook and work loosely, and decrease one more time on both bottom sides before sewing them together, for a SMALL romper. Sometimes I wonder if the instructor purposely omits important tips because they think the student will learn by error as opposed to being spoonfed verbatim instructions.
