Hello! I just finished making this. I did not alternate colors because that was too difficult and confusing for me. I sewed snaps to the bottom and made the straps onger so that they can criss cross if necessary. I made it for a newborn so the thread was thin so I used two threads together and a smaller hook. i also made a baby cap with the leftover yarn. Thank you. I'd love to attach a photo or send you a photo!
I figured it out for the most part and it turned out really cute. I would say that I would have liked a bit more visual walkthrough for some of the steps. For example, sewing the legs at the end, I’ve never done that so I’ll have to look into it or do some research. If you ever make another video, I’d show you doing all the steps with no time skipping, just so beginners can get a full explanation. Otherwise, thanks for the step by step video!
This was one of the best tutorials I’ve seen. It’s such a simple design but so beautiful. Thank you so much for this pattern. I think I’ll make it in pink for a girl. 😊
I made this 2 weeks ago and used different colors(pink, ombre pink, baby blue, purple, brown) and used red flower buttons. It's so beautiful. I made it for a friend who's expecting her first baby but I'm having a hard time parting with it🤣🤣 it's so adorable thanks so much for this pattern.
I had to add a few stitches to the legs cuz I got a chunky monkey lol. Did 30 and made the legs longer with a few more rows fits perfectly on my 2 month old. And I added a few rows on the top too.
Thank you for this tutorial! It’s my first big project and it’s turning out pretty good. The only problem I have is with the strings of yarn that are left when I change de color (the older color, not the new we are adding each time)… where does it go? Thank you very much!!
how do you go from 24 stiches to the next row 22?! All of a sudden suppossed to leave 21 out..? then the next row is 24?! which than after that, while you increase with 3 into every stitch should have the come out of 30...?
I just ordered yarn and making it in a week I got maroon with cream because my first cousin is having her first baby but we don’t knwo the gender so I think this is perfect btw tutorial looks easy and I am gonna make the legs long instead of short with three skiens pelase tell if that will be enough and how much extra rows
hi, in back upper part on pdf pattern for 0-6m is until 8 rows. but in your blog and this youtube tutorial is explained to create until 10 rows(additional 2 rows). which one is the right one?thankyou for your sharing :)

You said round 20 was a decrease but then said rounds 20 and 21 are just 1 HDC in each stitch. Did you mean that 21 and 22 are are the 1 HDC in each stitch?
Hi! It's always good to check the written instructions. 😊I can correct the errors there, but once the video is out, it is out. 😄 Round 20: Hdc 14. Hdc2tog. Hdc 2. Hdc2tog. Hdc 27. Hdc2tog. Hdc 2. Hdc2tog. Hdc 13. = 62 sts. Round 21 - 22: Hdc 62. = 62 sts.
Thank you for your video. I made one in time and when I showed my husband the finished project was how I told him we were expecting! Thank you.

Love your pattern! It took me two hours and I used buttons on the bottom instead of stitching, but the babies mama loved it.

hi, is the final product heavy if using 100% cotton yarn? thank you!
@@tramtramrhinomo no it’s actually light weight, lighter than #4/8 ply/aran yarn
I had to add a few stitches to the legs cuz I got a chunky monkey lol. Did 30 and made the legs longer with a few more rows fits perfectly on my 2 month old. And I added a few rows on the top too.
But then uou have to remove the whole thing to change diaper. Need buttons at the bottom

Awesome tutorial! ❤️ How many yarns did you use for this romper? ❤️
Thanks! 😊 I used less than 2 skeins of green and 1 skein of beige yarn. Both Drops Paris, 100% cotton yarn. 😀
Please tell me is it for a newly born kid?
0 - 6 months 😊
How do you sew on the buttons?
I really want to make this but I have a Size 1 yarn is like to use. How much would you increase the stitches?
I advice using a thicker yarn for this project. This one is made with size 4.
