  • IRejuvenating wilting tired looking cut roses at home. Tricks and tips of the trade.
Roses are very delicate flowers, as indeed all bush flowers with lignified stems. You can often hear from people that roses did not stand in a vase or wilted almost immediately after they were bought or hung their heads after they were arranged and placed in a vase of water. There is an easy way to revive wilted roses. The reason for dehydration is often mistakes in care, when the stems or tips of roses are not cut off properly before being placed in a vase and therefore the intra-stem pressure that ensures the rise of water does not work, since pockets with air appear inside the stem that do not allow water to rise up. The second reason for the violation of water permeability is pathogenic bacteria that begin to develop rapidly on the dying cut. Therefore, for successful rehabilitation, it is necessary to completely remove the dead tissue of the stem where pathogenic bacteria develop, then making a deep incision into the stem of the roses to significantly increase the suction surface, you need to put the flowers in very warm water of 45-50 degrees Celsius. Temperature is a catalyst for biochemical processes and accelerates processes. It is necessary to add floral food to the water, it provides nutrition to the stem at the same time inhibits pathogenic microorganisms. If there is no floral food, then you can do it yourself by replacing it with sugar and a teaspoon of citric acid or sodium hypochlorite NaClO. It is important at the end of dehydration rehabilitation to stop the dehydration process itself. How to do it? It is necessary to spray water from a spray over the entire surface of the flowers and place in a room with a lower temperature. Heat from below, cold and moisture from above is the secret. Flowers will surely recover within a few hours. This method can be applied without exception to all flowers, it works especially well for woody bush flowers such as hydrangea, lilac and others.
Recipe: For two litres of water 1 teaspoon of bleach plus tablespoon of sugar. Instead of bleach you can use 2-4 tablets of 500 mg of aspirin or teaspoon of lemon acid.#flowersdiy #roses #revival #flowershop #flowermaking #flowerscake

Folks, this works! I watched it and then I tried in one of the roses I have in a vase. You will not believe it. I was given them on Jan 31st. I did this same thing as shown in the video, the rose is like new again! Then I look at the spot where I cut it. Do you believe if I tell you that it is completely healed?! Where I cut with the knife is completely gone! It is like the rose was born again.
I am in awe! Thank you very much. I will do the same in the other roses and I am sure they will be like just brought from a garden!
    👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💞💖💞💞💞
UPDATE: the roses are still alive and doing good! (FEB. 17TH 2021)

@Textual Predator rather be a cheap ass than a dumbass! She’s being smart and saving money for items down the line instead of being a dumbass and blowing $20+ for a bouquet of roses 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll save money and buy the wilted ones and fix them to look like new for a third or half the price and have double sometimes even triple the amount of flowers for the price of one bouquet. So no she’s not a dumbass at all :) if anybody is it’s you for thinking she’s a dumbass

My boyfriend gave me a dozen roses on valentine’s day and they were more wilted than it was in the video, I thought they wont survive. Thank you so much to your video, here in Philippines the weather is hot, but I followed your steps and I put 1 and a half spoon of brown sugar, 1 spoon of zonrox bleach I found in the house and hot water. I also scraped the ends of the stem. My roses are very alive, red and beautiful after 16 hours and I am more than happy 😃 thank you!
