I needed to put in a TextGDI source and needed to make sure it was the proper name or it wouldn't work. I also was wondering is there a way to set up a persistent per game or is it already built in?
I can't get the OBS raw part to work, it won't connect even I'm connected to streamer.bot. It's saying "Failed to construct 'WebSocket': An insecure WebSocket connection may not be initiated from a page loaded over HTTPS" and saying websocket must be enabled which it is

First off... this is very impressive, so much so I sent you a "cheeky tip" to show how much I appreciated it; the instructions are clear and easy to follow and setup was a breeze howeveer I have an issue that 1) makes no sense and 2) I can't seem to figure out.... I created a voice dictation trigger for Death + and everything works fine EXCEPT when triggering by voice the %broadcastUser% variable doesn't set the broadcaster name correctly; it just lists the variable... I was able to edit the twitch chat output to include my personal RIP emotes..... BUT when I trigger the command using !death+ in chat.... everything works correctly... any ideas, am I missing something obvious (I'm very new to streamerbot)?
I figured it out; I had to disable the "add target info for broadcaster subaction", and add an "add twitch broadcaster information" subaction in its place.....

Hi OBS Raw does not work because %sceneName% & %gamingsourceid% inside the OBS Raw sub-action is not valid. You have to set them manually. lots of issues with auto setup and in order for the shake effect to work, you have to re-nable the shake filter visibility... Either way, great deathcounter after I fixed it all the issues.
@@XenomTV it took a few hours to learn/understand it... iirc you have no choice but to manually set it. So no using streamerbot %values% inside of the OBS raw action.

What version of OBS Studio and Streamer.bot are you using? Do you have Streamer.bot connected to OBS Studio via websockets? This is under Stream Apps --> OBS.
for some reason i cannot get the Death visual to show up on screen when triggered. I put the scene under the games capture as per the video but when i trigger the command my screen just goes black with the boom sound effect then comes back.
nvm i fixed it. i reinstalled everything and that seemed to install the filters and all. I think what happened is i didn't have the other download installed first. so i would recommend to download the plugins first then run the setup trigger. also if you are having trouble with the animation showing up correctly make sure for 1 that the scene is not inside of a folder. If it is then you will get a kind of shaded image but not the mask image you desire. best way to do this where you don't accidentally put in a folder is add the new scene and then hit the up and down arrows until the scene has moved under your game capture. as soon as i did this, when triggered, the scene showed up perfectly. Sound and all. hope this helps someone
Thanks for the info. Yeah it is very easy to accidentally move something to a Group on OBS without realising so I tend to use nested scenes instead of groups@@walkerdrae

A few friends had this issue. The way it was fixed was by deleting the death counter actions and commands and then try importing again.

Same thing happened to me. I get the scene but there are no sources in the scene
