  • In this week's Jerusalem Lights podcast, Jim Long and Rabbi Chaim Richman are joined by long-time friend Mrs. Yocheved Woodward, who shares the inspiring story of her life-long devotion to G-d, which led to her departure from Christianity, through the stages that ultimately led to her Orthodox conversion to Judaism and aliya to Israel, where together with her dedicated husband, she makes her home in the Golan Heights and serves G-d every day with all her heart.

Thank you for sharing this, it was exactly perfect timing for me to hear. It has gave me hope and encouragement to keep defending Judaism peacefully. I have not converted nor am I a noahide yet..but I have a strong attraction to work toward becoming a Noahide. This journey from Christianity to finding Judaism is not easy when all my family members try to turn me back..they don't understand but I have accepted

Now i love my prayer more than ever..."Ooooh, thank you, MOST HIGH, for your MERCY, we know not what we do in the sight of HOLY CREATOR OF ALL"
I read in one of the Holy Bible versions, "Mercy is above the name." "The holy one reigns on the just and the unjust."

Thank you for sharing. Your story about your mother in law really hit home with me. It’s true we are all on a unique journey and Hashem is the only goal.

Beautiful story! I live in DFW and would love to be amongst the Orthodox community in North Dallas, but average rent for a small apartment is about $5000. It's so expensive that some are even leaving the community because they can't afford to stay there😢 I am studying for conversion and will continue to see what HaShem has planned.

Would love to hear Jim Longs story! He is so knowledgeable in Judaism and Torah, yet remains a Noahide. Is it possible to hear his story?

Wow!! This is the cry & longing of my soul! To be able to convert & live in the land of Israel. At this point it looks impossible for me. 😢 Nevertheless HaShem knows far more than I do. Perhaps I am meant to stay as a Noahide.

Wow, I remember when I was done with the mindset of religiousosity, I took my menorah and respectfully moved it from the living room to the bathroom. I had the thought it would be symbolic of flushing away all my unrighteous ways. 😂😮🤔😳✔️♥️💯

However, I soon returned it to my living room 🙄🥴. I just simply love the turah/Torah and the way it lights up every room in the house.
So, I respectfully moved it back to the living room.😇
