Sound Therapy: Drumming, Rhythm & Grounding

- In this video, Tony Nec demonstrates how to play a variety of rhythm and grounding instruments, including:
* brass harmony balls
* 5-ball maraca
* rainstick
* ocean drum
* hand-held frame drum
These have been put together in a sequence for demonstration purposes.
You don't need to play all 5 of these instruments together like this at the end of any one sound therapy session. If you choose to play 2 or 3 rhythm & grounding instruments, that's fine....and then the rhythm and grounding part of the session could be a bit shorter than demonstrated here.
It's also good to allow 5 - 10 minutes for drumming, rhythm and grounding in a sound therapy session, and then to sit still and quiet for a few minutes in silence.

Are you using the balls, rattle and rain stick or one or the other. After watching the whole video you are using as grounding technique. Do you then incorporate other techniques in addition to that? Thanks for you assistance.
Sound Therapy of Austin yes they are being used for grounding. There are other ways to do this, but this is often enough and a great way to end a sound healing session.

Hi, I love those harmony balls. Question: What sort of equipment (microphone, mixer, recorder, etc.) are you using to capture your sound?... It's so vibrant! what is inside the ocean drum please? 💜
Inside the ocean drum are small steel pellets, which help to simulate the sounds of the ocean. To create the ocean sounds, it is best to hold the drum by the frame, with the heads horizontal like a serving tray.
