For small mid towers like this, the EVGA G3 series power supplies are my go to solution. I've built a couple systems in small cases like this, like the NZXT S340. I honestly love that this case is so cheap and yet seems to have such good airflow options. This seems like a great budget case. Damn, this comment reads like an ad haha. However, I would like to see an NR200 Version of this Case. I actually preferred the N200 as a Case due to it's compact design while not compromising too much on features for the price, so if they make the NR200, I could see it selling for $40 and becoming one of the prime picks for a Budget Micro-ATX PC Build. I was hovering between this, the Fractal Design Meshify C for 15 bucks more, and the Focus G for 20 bucks less. At some point, I wouldn't allow myself to choose a panel that wasn't mesh. Every build, I entertain the idea of straying from CoolerMaster, but every time, they're the right choice. All I want is a clean looking case with mesh in the front, and this is one of the only ones on the market!
Apparently the latest revision of this case has the HDD bay screwed in rather than riveted. I ordered one from Newegg to replace my old Antec Eleven Hundred case, so hopefully this is the case.
Pretty nice case overall and glad to see it back on Amazon. It's a bummer about the 3.5" drive rack being riveted though. First off, I actually really dig this basic aesthetic they're going for with this case. However, I may have to disagree with the HDD conundrum. If the drive cage has those open slots of space on the sides, you could easily route the power supply cables through the cage so the upper section can store cables while the lower could hold a single drive pretty easily (considering that's the drive config most people are going for nowadays.)
Not noticeable in my past. Just encourages a cleaning of the house more regularly. Not to mention with TG we put cases up higher to display. Atleast I do. Where there is less dust.
Heat rises and you have hot air coming out of your CPU near the top... you want top fans to be exhaust... hot air out. Cool air in should be front (and bottom if an option).
@@wolfshanze5980 thanks! Since when I first asked the question a month ago, I did a lot of research and finally built my PC on the same concept. 240 AIO exhaust on top, 3x120 fans in front in take, 120 in the back exhaust and 120 on the bottom intake for psu. System has been running in 4ghz OC mode at cool temps and fans are not loud either. I am very happy with the results!
Is it possible to install a 360mm rad at the front with 6 fans in a push pull config?, I was thinking about 3 rgb fans for intake and 3 noctua fans for exhaust. For the GPU perhaps an hybrid model from EVGA with the fan at the back of the case?, just and idea Dmitry! (altough I would really love to see a build like that in the future)
I don't imagine I'd go with this case over the N500, but if I wanted something close and availability of the N500 was botched at the time, I might settle for this one instead of waiting. I'm not a fan of the logo especially, if I could air one nitpick. I don't mind when logos are more prominent on the front or top, and side panels can do it right (see: Enthoo primo), but this stamp is just bad. I thought your case was damaged when I first saw it. That's not great. It's more like an oddly symmetrical dent than a logo. Overall, looks like a solid option. It just doesn't beat any of its competitors.

If the drive cage has those open slots of space on the sides, you could easily route the power supply cables through the cage so the upper section can store cables while the lower could hold a single drive pretty easily (considering that's the drive config most people are going for nowadays.)
you say that it competes with the NZXT H500 but you included the meshify S2 in the graphs ? wtf ?
Yeah, pretty idiotic, I bet its cause the h500 performs much worse
I just bought this case, and its little brother the NR400,doing two new builds soon.
is a mesh front panel good enough for dust filtering???? i thought the lack of a removable dust filter at the front was a bad thing
It is a bad thing lmao
Not noticeable in my past. Just encourages a cleaning of the house more regularly. Not to mention with TG we put cases up higher to display. Atleast I do. Where there is less dust.
The fans on top.... do they pull in cold air or should they push out hot air?
Holy shit those SSD mounts are awesome. How do I put them on my POS thermaltake case?
What's inside that box with tracer on it? (overwatch themed case?!)
probably the NZXT H500 Overwatch case
I don't imagine I'd go with this case over the N500, but if I wanted something close and availability of the N500 was botched at the time, I might settle for this one instead of waiting.
I'm not a fan of the logo especially, if I could air one nitpick. I don't mind when logos are more prominent on the front or top, and side panels can do it right (see: Enthoo primo), but this stamp is just bad.
I thought your case was damaged when I first saw it. That's not great. It's more like an oddly symmetrical dent than a logo.
Overall, looks like a solid option. It just doesn't beat any of its competitors.
Dimitri, might you review a few fans please? Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM, Noiseblocker NB eloop B14-3 (B14-PS too). also the latest Noctua U12A and how does it stack against its D15.
does this come in white?
I bought the Coolermaster SF360 ARGB all in one. Can I install it in the front but still add fans in the front to do a push pull config?
BUT WHY COMBO 3,5 JACK? WHY NOT SEPARATE? (sry fo the CAPS)
Sergey Gretchushkin most generic desktop computer users don’t use mics , especially now that we have USB mics.
I have a P350X and this looks like a pretty good product too, but no included RGB
I "downgrade" my case from define C to this case. Well.. as the video said, build quality looks a bit cheap (flimsy side panel and front panel) but I'm happy with the airflow. System run cooler compared when I use define C (I know they have different design approach). Anyway it cost around $ 76 here in my country
Can I install the front fans in the inside of the case as opposed to the outside?
That air flow is amazing
Can you review the deep cool matrexx 55 addrgb? Looks like a clean case for very very cheep
h500 with some decent airflow ?
Given that the MB500 now retails for $69 on Newegg, it would be interesting to see a comparison between the NR600 and MB500.
Mabye your could do a review on "MASTERBOX MB511 RGB"
Why SSD drives are hidden when there's too mich empty (ugly) space inside the front?? At least could include some sort of beautiful artistic panel to fill in theere
You can mount 3 on the psu shroud...
That ssd mounting is practical and looks ok. I want to see that on more cases.
I bought myself a new case. Going from a corsair obsidian 750D full tower to a phanteks p600s black mid tower.
Were those dust filters for masterbox q300l? how can we order custom dust filters like that?
So do you think adding 2 120mm 1500 rpm fans to the front would be good (so 3 total front/1 rear)? and i would be installing One 2.5"ssd/two - 3.5" hdd/two -2.5" hdd - would all these fit in the case? do you think the Carbide Series SPEC-05 Mid-Tower Gaming Case would be better?
Whats that tracer box down there at 00:01
Sex bot
Do you have baseline Temps for the parts outside of an enclosure or case?
cant complain for 69 bucks , two more fans in the front and you have a case with great air flow , decent for a first or budget build
I have the original N600, compare to this is a bit disappointed because of they only have few USB in the front panel and the front mesh is a bit weak compare to the original.
Custom dust filters is for the q500l ??? 😀
yup
How much ram clearance between top fan mount and your Trident Z RGB?
Still have my old N200, oddly enough newegg still sells it. Great budget maxt case if you still need an optical drive.
Late to the party but only the HDD tray side closer to the front of the case is riveted, the other is removable and able to stuff ANYTHING under there
0:00 is that even a case (tracer box)
Can you do a video getting the PSU out?
Which one do you prefer Nr600 or 275r?
Yay new HC case review!
What lamp is on the thumb nail????
How are thermals compared to the p350x
I want to buy either one and don't care about the rgb aspect. I find minimalistic as sexy as you so. But im big on airflow and thermals. plz help!!
Bro how do you add hard drive storage to this I’ve tried a few things
The 3x3.5" drive jail on the bottom with poor air flow should be fantastic for hard drives because those don't get hot
Might get one when it's available in my area. I like this one. It's simple and it's cheap. Gonna retire my Obsidian 750D. Can't stand that drive bay cages now.
This or cooler master H500 or fractal design meshify C?
Is it possible to fit in a Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler in there?
When is this thing going on sale
cant you put the 1 dust filter on the front?
Does anyone know if i could switch the side panels so that the glas would be on the right side?
I am dying to have a white version.
Although, spray paint does exist
