To master barre chords i played hours and hours of greenday, after all those powerchords I got the strength needed to playfull barre chords :) Im just 5 months in and playing on a squire strat ;)

I started playing under 2 months ago, and im already pretty good at barre chords. I think the problem ppl have is with the thumb placement. Also u get tought finger skin so it doesnt hurt

What are your finger positions? #1 finger open, them second, third and fourth fingers are on what frets and strings please sir?
