Refering to his opinion about "they dont hold back or relax a bit eventho they are on the back or when the camera are zoom in at the certain member" reminds me of one of the Enhypen story when they did an interview, he said that SVT members told him that "eventho you're out of the screen or just standing in the behind or besides, you still have to give your best performance because it still part of the performance"

This song is truely what made me multi fandom. While I had been listening to kpop for almost 10 years when this song came out I only listened to mostly 2nd gen groups. I really got into kpop after I saw this mv! I was so blown away by them! They got me to appreciate every group for who they are and to see how amazing different groups can be! I cant believe its been 4 years since and they got to perform this on MTV on the anniversary of the release?!?! That's insane and I'm so proud of them!

Can i just say it out there how previously we have Infinite for a synchronized group, now we got Seventeen like *chef's kiss* another legendary synchronization...can't even English today
From the first time we heard this song years ago to now, you can tell their singing voices have improved a lot over the years
first off, thank you Jeff for loving Seventeen and really seeing the detailed intricacy of this choreography. "Don't Wanna Cry is probably my most favorite choreo of all SVT song - for the difficulty, it follows "Hit" because in this song, there are many transitions from contemporary movement to quick foot steps to isolation to sudden twirls in between, and etc. And doing all these in synchronization with ALL 13 MEMBERS is just mad skills. when I first watched DWC, I knew I had fallen hard for SVT because they are the most synchronized group while performing and singing (in my opinion) which is very difficult to do with so many members. if you follow SVT more, a few of them cannot perfectly execute DWC's full choreography anymore during their last concert stages as this dance is really hard but I am so glad that all of them here in MTVs stage were able to perfectly perform the steps even the constant turning and switching while singing live.
I did know that you mentioned and manifested this before and I thank you because I also wished it and you said it; because SVT definitely needs to show the world about their "Don't Wanna Cry" song. and I am so happy that it finally reached its 200 M views milestone.

This performance is actually for s special event to put more awareness to stopping AAPI hate. Dont Wanna Cry fits with the theme, and it was in the middle of the special event too. So it want just any kind of performance. Anyways, with Seventeen not repeating their performances, every performance becomes a must-watch. You cant miss it or get bored because there's something new to the table. They might not have a lot of views on their MVs, but if you think about it, we have so much performances to analyze and appreciate, the MV, while beautiful, is not the first thing i click on when i want to see Seventeen. they are such wonderful performers that i feel satisfied watching them perform. BTW, they're gonna be at KCON-tact. not the same as live, but for sure, they're gonna release the performance for their new album on it.
I totally agree and identify with your reaction! The first video I saw of Seventeen was the "I Don't Wanna Cry" Dance Practice and it is one of my favorite songs.

When you said that the way the performed look different than the time this song was released, I can point one one thing. They look relaxed, controlled but powerful, compared to those days, that seemed to put so much energy to control and to make the movement look powerful.
