Love this series. God is good.
Amazing! I never heard of Adrian Schiller before and today I came across him in five different acting roles!
The Bible Series rocks!
Every Sunday GREAT SERIES...
Me and my 11 year old daughter enjoy watching this series a lot, its wonderful!
Shes now twenty and you're an old hag. How does it feel?
He is a good actor
I didn't know Who this was when I watched this on television. I was drawn to Him, He's got a look about Him, that drew Me in.
I just noticed that the actor Frazer Ayes ( I hope I spelled the actor's name correctly) is in this series. He also played as Simon in AD The Bible Continues series.
They should make this a weekly series plenty of material here to do that. The actors and actress' are very professional.I like Jesus and Samson
This is totaly interesting
i personally think Caiaphas hating of Jesus was out of jealousy OR he was in fact afraid of King Herod Tetrarch and Pilate, i think maybe Caiaphas had a death threat on his head.... so he saw fit to put Jesus to death, plus he was fullfilling Prophecy without his own knowing: he did say: "It is better for one man to die for the people rather then a whole nation to perish"
kevin chagnot I think Caiaphas has no choice but to condemn Jesus. it is clear from the Synoptics that Jesus made a claim to divinity during His trial. The Jews were (and are) strict monotheists. Jesus claiming to be God was blasphemy, which is why Caiaphas tore his robes. There was also another factor at play. Jesus came from Galilee. Many other revolutionaries and Messiah claimants came from Galilee. According to Luke, besides the Twelve, Jesus also had seventy-two disciples. also according to Luke, on (what is now known as) Palm Sunday, the seventy-two disciples were the ones throwing down branches, shouting, "Hosanna!". To the powers-that-be, it may well have looked like Jesus had a small army. At the time of Jesus, the high priest was appointed by the Roman governor. The fact that Caiaphas remained in office as long as he did shows his cooperation with Rome (he was in office for 18 years). It is very likely that Pilate wanted this trouble maker Jesus taken care of as soon as possible. So it was not jeolody but theology (Jesus claim to divinity vs. Judaism's monotheism) and politics combined.
However this one Man, Jesus, died so that the whole nation could live.
He's threatened .
Caiaphas's tomb has been found
High Priest Caiaphas--the ultimate villain of the New Testament, and the actual de facto culprit for the murder of Jesus Christ.... I see him as somewhat of a Biblical Iago...
Didn't realize that Caiphas' actor is sooo handsome haha 😅
We got to be careful about that and know that Caiphas was not loving God a at and was motivated by demons.
He was NOT a nice man.
There is some logic in what he said "Better one man die and all the people be saved." It was just good for him that said man was his biggest opponent
He's a hypocrite, power hungry and greedy.
What confuses me is caiaphas is Jewish but in this series he’s wearing a kufi which is not what Jewish high priests would wear
The picture you showed on the video was of Nicodemus. *Error.*
need put closed captioned for DEAF viewers, please think about that, thanks!
it is lovely e atractiv
Pilate seems to me like a roman version of Hitler
Not at all. He was a weak and coward man. As he is represented in the Passion of The Christ by Mel Gibson.
That is confirmed by mystics of the Church like Anne Katharina Emmerick, Therese Neumann,..
No better or worse than most Roman Governors.
Just proves the old say wrong... "It doesn't matter what you believe as long as you are sincere." Caiaphas was sincere in his belief that Jesus was a threat to the Jewish people and that his sacrifice was for the good of the nation. And, it was for their good... just not in the way he believed. It was for fear of Rome that Jesus was handed over to Pilate. But all of this had to take place to fulfill prophesy and to pay the price for the sin of all mankind. So it was for their good, and yours, and mine. (But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 NIV)
Omg. I like Adrian, but his character is the most hateful man on God´s earth.
