@@RushGI hadn't played a sf or fighting game really since SF2 and marvel vs Capcom arcade since 1999. I picked up Sfv for the hell of it and saw your channel shortly after. I wouldn't be surprised if medium jinrai > heavy juggle is the most missed combo in the entire game.
It's can be tricky timing for sure. I think I find Stand HK > Light harder though?

The fight against Ryu around 3:45, the directions you’re hitting for the shoryus don’t seem to align with the controller display. I know about still inputting the same way for cross cuts so confused why after the cross cut, it still looks like you’re inputting a dp in reverse even though they’re still in the same corner. Appreciate a response

@@RushG I came from the video prior and I get what you’re saying and I’m master btw but the shoryu input in the middle of cross cut dps (the one where he neutral jumps) looks like you’ve entered it backwards or am I seeing things
I’m gonna lab this anyway as I never tend to dp, I like the pressure lol
@@xRemidy watching it back in slow mo, the first jump the Ryu does is a forward jump putting himself into the corner. I input an autocorrect DP here (input facing right but it comes out to the left cornering the Ryu).
It's after that he neutral jumps but he's already on the left hand side by then and I input the DP to the left this time.

1:50 have you seen the ken corner combo: heavy jinrai > light follow-up, l.dp, l.dp? I think it's frame perfect though
I think it's one of the trials, a cool combo but the timing is tough.
You can actually visually see if the juggle is "right" as the opponent bounces up a bit higher after the low kick from HK Jinrai
As Master modern ken i can tell that, to much Classic input was use !

I’m not a pad player can you explain why your buttons are medium light heavy on the front of your pad?
My guess is that it's easier to link light strings and cancel into dp
It's just how I prefer to have the buttons mapped. I like to have my normals all on the front or the pad and 3P and 3K mapped to R1 and R2
I've always used 6 buttons fightpad style controllers
everytime i see a video of his i learn new stuff that i never imagined.... he nasty....
Awesome. The new addition to my play is the use of safe jumps / jump ins into mix at the corner. They're really powerful in this game
