I started watching your channel in 2020 as a pandemic fanboy because I wanted to become a woodworker, but I kept seeing all the channels with decked out shops and gnarly machines. By 2021 I was soooo tired of working on the ground and tweaking stuff to get by, that I stopped all woodworking to focus my attention on acquiring machines. Rescued an 8 inch PM jointer from a dump haul. Been restoring a 10inch Walker-Turner table saw on my channel, and scrounging anything I can find just to get a "shop" built up in my garage, so I can be a real woodworker. This video and the recent workbench out of a truck video make me remember why I wanted to woodwork in the first place. Nostalgia.
Old video, but great timing for me though. It’s wonderful and reinvigorating to be reassured that I don’t have to wait to get the table saw, radial arm saw, etc to get started. What a beautiful, elegant first project that is so simple. Thank you.
It's a pleasure watching such a neat thing being built. Thanks for showing us.
I like how you kept the design simple enough to two basic power tools and then made it fancy with different color stains
After you have a few more videos of two power tool projects, you should make a playlist
Love that color combination
That is a VERY nice build! I love the fact you showed how you don't need specialty tools and how simple of a process it is with some basic skills to get someone to do the work. No fancy joinery or cuts and SOOOOOO many options for colors, wood selection and size. GREAT JOB!
Love the limited tools!! Thanks!
Don't understand 38 k views and only 2 k likes . A quick like really helps these guys out.
❤️❤️❤️
Great video, my man. Love that you restricted yourself to just two common power tools. Makes this so much more approachable
Killer video David! Keep up the great work!
This was a perfect tutorial for me. Thank you.
With limited tools at the moment and as I look for a new job, I need simple projects like this to do on my spare time. Thank you.
That looks really good.
Cool project. I love the burnt charcoal on the legs
this is the prettiest table ive seen that's this easy to make. great work, man!
I love your weiner dog! Thank you for sharing this video! As a newbie to woodworking, I really appreciate it!
Nice table, Dave.
Love this! I only have a mitre saw/drop saw and a drill, would love for you to put up more videos of basic/hand tool projects =)
Thanks for actually putting together videos that are for beginners. My modest equipment salutes you!
You do Great work !!!! Good Times !!!
I know this was from almost a couple of years ago, but I want to start woodworking and watching tons of videos to learn! This table is beautiful and I appreciate the fact that you offer the tools and supplies used without charing us for them! I think this will be my first project! 👍
Table looks great!! Glad to see that it was built with two pretty “simple” tools and the love the colors!
solid video. love the use of color.
Very cool, I love it, and how you simplified the whole process. I am New to wood, but definitely going to follow your channel. Thanks a lot
This is great! Will definitely be making this once I move into y new place! Thanks for sharing!
Wow. The table looks FABULOUS
I like all the colors, but that red, wow. Love it. I have to try it.
Going to try this but as a side table, think it's a great idea. Special as I have just started my woodworking journey, and only have a few tools. Till tag you after its done!!🎉
Sweet table! Really like the contrasting colors that you used. Another fun project brought to you by the creative mind of David P!
I love this project a lot. Great job Dave.
I only own these two power tools so thank you!
Thank you for this!
You never cease to amaze! Fantastic table!
Beautiful work
Great work Dave! You are a really good teacher.
David, thank you for sharing this lesson. I am a beginner and this project was a good learning experience, especially for learning to use dowels in the legs. I have been struggling with mounting legs, and this project has helped. Kudos!
TR-808 in the house! :) Those colors really pop!
Good observation ;)
Wow that came out looking sick, I love that finish on the top. I will definitely keep those finishes in mind for a future project.
Great job David. This is the type of project that gets people to start woodworking as a hobby. Well done.
Beautiful and simple.
Gorgeous table.
Wouldn't usually think of using bright colours but i'm tempted after seeing how that turned out. Nice job.
The colors on the top are amazing! Nice work!!
My daughter and I both like the colorful table top! Great stuff!
Thank you, this was great. It had a lot of techniques in it that hadn't occurred to me and it was pitched at exactly my level. Also I literally bought my first speed square yesterday. Need to grab some longer clamps now...
Awesome build with simple tools...love it
Really colourful wax finishes, thanks for sharing!
That’s a genuinely beautiful project; I learned so much. And the colours! I’m amazed how much I enjoyed them.
Perfect timing! My wife just asked me to make a side table for her desk. Great video.
Love the colors, David! Certified banger!

That table and color pattern are awesome. The Picciuto style is in full effect

Those colours! ❤️
Very original design. Thanks for sharing
Very nice table. Thanks for sharing your tips
Looks great, perfect colors.
That color for the base is nice. I'm in the middle of a coffee table build and might have to try that.
love the top !
Nicely done
Awesome video for so many reasons... Reminiscent of Drunken Woodworker vids, simple yet elegant, instructional but not demeaning and the end result is excellent. Big fan for a while. Glad to see you found your spark again.
Turned out fantastic!
Nice work!
Nice project.
Great video! Really informative 👍🏻👍🏻
I love it
Cool & simple project! 👍👍👍
Love the tint on your sneakers as well. The table top looks awesome
Good color combination 👍🏼
Loved this video. Can u do one making a food tray and a cutting board. All the videos I see are with ppl using all the fancy equipment. I’ve never built anything except for a desk I bought from the store to put together lol so I’m trying to get into woodworking and I don’t have all of that fancy equipment. I would like to do this table and the food tray and cutting board
Great project David!!!
Thank you.
Well done. Excellent video. Simple and well explained.
very different and very nice ideal
how fun. thanks for sharing this. new to your channel. Can't wait to see more videos
+1 for the alternative clamp solutions. Good stuff.
You can never have enough woodworkers telling you that you can’t have enough clamps. You gotta say that on the podcast. Love it.
I heard this on another channel I think it was Spenclys or four eyes can't remember
Awesome video Mike! I love that minwax!
I like watching the videos of projects I probably couldn't make, of course, but I really like this style because it makes me want to take a crack at it
Very cool
Wow, great build. The simplest way to build something is often the BEST way to build something. Thank you for sharing....oh and I dig the weiner dogs too!
