Asake's girl broke his heart, he gave her 2Mill she said it wasn't enough then gave him an ultimatum to increase it or she'd dumb him. Fast foward she leaves him heart broken then his label boss Olamide 'Baddooo' AKA the Afrobeat Kendrick Lamar suggested he give the 2Mill to his mother which he did and she proceeded to shower him with prayers & gratitude. He cuts his hair, he's moving on with his life and healing in the process.
    You're all caught up!!!

It's not Child abuse.... This is the reason Nigerians are successful in America...

Coming from a Haitian in America who got the same treatment and upbringing, I can truly say that it created a discipline and sense of order in me that allows me to be more appreciative and less entitled for sure! 😁❤️❤️

It isnt child abuse for us, Africans. This is how our African parents instil discipline in us as a child who wants to be stubborn.

You see that video and you are covering your face, calling it child abuse?
Hmmm.. You are a black man but with a lost identity of true Africanism.
Discipline, strictness by african parent is the bedrock of major successes instilled in us to achieve major achievement as a Nigerian in education, science, technology, law and art and music.
I can understand your environment has influence your cultural identity which i can understand through the lense of evil slavery journey. But i see the resilience of African American who persevered and fought hard and you are a living generation of descendants of people whom were damaged, denied and suffered with slave masters intension is to break their body but massively failed to break their heart and solid mind.
I'm glad you associates with afrobeats... Its yours, the culture represent whom you truly are. The change i experience as a very stubborn and dullant child to a very successful academic and business man was as a result of the hard upbringing and discipline as the only child given to me by grandmother who raised me. If not i will end up like others in the back side. With a heart of resilience and hardwork, i changed the narrative and today, I'm a father to three british citizen coming out a very forgotten corner of the world. You are African Americans destined for greatness and all this child abuses claiming by the west in other to raise a black kids is damaging our community and May be the factor our black kids inspite of all opportunities of education still achieve less. But for Africa child like me, i may be stubborn but like a goat, but i will always be greatest of all time in achieving the impossible through the moral, discipline and values instilled in me by my blessed memory Grandma..... Life is not an opportunity but a privilege through the lense and african perspective.
Wish you guys blessed week ahead... So much love and respect.❤❤❤❤

Oh my God… Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a beautiful well thought out smart and intuitive message. Speaking for myself, I am a first generation, Haitian American, and have lived majority of my life abroad away from the United States so I can definitely attest to the hard work and dedication that comes from loving but harsh discipline from parents. The child abuse comment was a side thought from my end as well as my beautiful wife’s, as we both agree, that discipline is necessary not only for boundaries, child and parent, but also between person and the world. Meaning that it is important to learn how much you can and cannot do and when you can and cannot do it. I was literally taught this lesson this past weekend, and an experience dealing with my son whom through my soft parenting, forgot that there was a line that he was continuously crossing because I did not discipline him those times that he did prior. Needless to say, we were able to reestablish that space and that line through discipline, but also through love. Though I agree with your point, I do agree that we should be not just conforming to the African way, but also the ways that God himself chooses to love us And that is correction with grace. So thank you so much for your encouraging words. We appreciate you for coming to our channel and divulging such a great message and we hope that you continue to succeed and have an amazing rest of your week as well we look forward to chatting with you again.
