Very impressive project. Bravo to the governor! The contractor is top notch. I can't wait to see the finished product. Awka is fast becoming a destination in Nigeria. Furnishing this building will cost a fortune, but it is worth it. If properly managed, it will be self-sustaining. Along with the new airport, Anambra is on the rise. Our people must be grateful to God for giving us a good governor. He has his problems, but so does everyone else. He has worked very hard and achieved a lot in the difficult business environment that is Nigeria. We now must join hands with Soludo to move our homeland to the next level through patriotism and constructive criticism where necessary. Enough of blanket negativity.
Apart from the excellent idea of a 4 - 5 star hotel within the compound to cater for guests and also ensure that the general environment is always well-manicured and maintained, the contractor will also get a maintenance agreement to ensure the edifice does not fall apart in a few years! That is such an excellent masterstroke. Also, a mini fire station with just one firetruck should be stationed somewhere within the facility. It could be somewhere next to the generator house or somewhere where it's not too obvious. But a fire truck within that location will cut the response time of firetrucks to minutes should a fire disaster ever occur within the edifice. Thus, ensuring minimal loss in case of fire.
The only point of interest here for me is the tramps for the POD. That shows that the designers are well travelled. We must elevate governance in Alaigbo beyond what is currently obtainable. Let's learn to compete with the developed World. We can build a Switzerland here in Dotland. Yagazie nụ ndị be anyị.
I stated earlier that building one huge project in isolated place is wrong idea. What the governor should have done is get architect to integrate the conversion centre in the new Awka city . From observation the convention is situated in already built up residential area with no link to the capital . In the europ convention centres are situated within business centre for easy access and enhancement of architecture of the city ..
My dear, the international convention center is located at the heart of Awka city just opposite Stanel World. Thanks for your sincere opinion and concern. +W. Obiano
@Desmond nedu Alaegbu the Owerri villager. I know you are pained that Awka international convention centre is the best, most beautiful and biggest in igboland and beyond. Where is the one Okoroawusa built? Hahaha
@@carlynenochchi3703 He built a first class hospital not too far from the airport. You are right that even more money needs to be invested in health and education. However, we also need income generating investments. Public hospitals and schools need money for their sustenance. We have to look away from overdependence on federal allocation, and the airport and convention center are among ways to achieve this. This airport has made it easier for Ndigbo in the diaspora to execute medical missions and ultimately build hospitals and schools.
@@uchennanwosu5327 how many people in the area , community can afford the bills of the hospital? Is it free, am not talking about government allocation, I only commented on what I feel the poor masses need for sustainance now before thinking of foreign investors that will still extortion of the community, ....my view though ........ Impressive 👏🏼
The East is on a high. We expect Soludo to come and raise the bar with massive industrial parks. This project is commendable.

In Owerri Rochas built cardboard box for an ICC center. Imo state is really having it bad in leadership

I only wish if they put the money they use in building this toward the airport,it would have been much better, priority first.....
Hospitals, housing and school would have been the best👍n first priority.....
They already built a poultry warehouse called airport that gulped billions of naira 😆🤣😂
The zinc is a bad choice. Looks like a dusty thing. Go to Akwa- ibom and see international conference centre.
Shut up your mouth, there's nothing wrong with the cover,akwa-ibom ICC is not better.

A lot of white elephant projects with minimum daily infrastructures
Misplaced priority. ...... 🏠, Hospital, and school structures ought to be number 1......

Wasted money instead of schools, hospitals and factories
You're daft!.
Empower your people, invest in human capital instead of while color shit
Enemy of progress.
Are your people more empowered than ndi Anambra?.
