At 59 I wish I could write a song like this for my wife. She deserves so much more than I could ever give her.
❤
You just did bro. Eleven simple words that say everything.
Oh to have a man write a song like that about you!!! Every line is a jewel. He was a poet. Miss him.
We still miss you so much, John.....
& We Always Will 💔😭
Watching this makes me cry a little. His voice was so perfect. His words were so touching. He died far too young. I can only imagine how many more incredible songs he would have written and sang. I miss him so much.
He was truly one of the greats! He had an incredible gift. I heard someone once describe John as “A song’s best friend”. Couldn’t describe it any better than that.
I got goosebumps the moment he sang.
same.💯
I have always loved this love song! The lyrics sound so sincere...though this live performance was amazing, I still love the original recording. It's the sighs for me.😊
His voice was slowly morphing as he aged. I wish je was able to coninue his amazing contribution to the music world
This is my favorite song by John Denver. He touches people’s hearts. Thank you Morenikeji.
Aww. Thank you🥹🙏
John was an amazing songwriter and absolutely awesome vocalist! He had a golden voice!
💯👏👏
John had so, so many fabulous songs. He was a prolific artist with a very charismatic delivery and a depth of feeling and a beautiful voice.
I grew up with Denver. Took him for granted. Musicians that can paint feelings into music like this are rare.
I got to see him perform in 1980, very enjoyable.
And to have such a clear, pure voice with much emotion is indeed rare; but to be able to touch our hearts with his songs is a gift to the world.
Your comment was poetry......"paint feelings into music"! Wow!
Well put!!
“Paint feelings into music” 💯💯💯
Great choice of song! This has to be one of the best love songs, if not the best songs ever written. So much beauty and emotion. John really was a genius and a beautiful soul. ♥
you're welcome, you're welcome, you're welome.
This man had a love for Denver, Colorado and sang with music that's lasted for decades that people still listen to today. R.I.P. John
💔❤️
"Country Roads(Take me Home)", "Sunshine (on my shoulders)", "Calypso"... If you need to relax and have some warm feelings, you can't go wrong with John Denver!
John had such a special talent for writing down what he was feeling in his heart,.and sang with pure and true emotions. You give the same vibe in your reactions. Thanks for sharing that.🤩
Aww, i really appreciate this🥹🙏
One of the most beautiful songs ever written. John was a national treasure who left us far too soon
Great selection baby girl. John has so many great songs to check out.
This song has always had a special place in my heart ❤️! As my name is Annie my husband played it at our wedding 🥰🥰🥰! Thanks Mo for another wonderful reaction👍🏻👍🏻❤️! Take care!
A very unique musical artist. I've heard this song from John Denver all of my life. There won't be anymore of him or this kind of music unfortunately.
This performance is a world treasure.
Seeing you singing and dancing in the bloopers was a treat! Aside from that, John Denver was a musical treasure. I didn't appreciate him when he was with us but now that he's gone I recognize his artistry for what it was...beautifylly executed.
such a beautiful song masterfully sang.
This is the most beautiful song ever written in my opinion.
I think this is his prettiest melody. The words are gripping as well. I feel like watching "Oh, God!" now, even though his music is not in it. He is so great in it, and George Burns is perfect. That movie makes me feel as good as his music does.
Oh to have that talent and be so humble. Effortless style. He makes it look so easy.
Denver is a great live singer. The record version has a great instrumental arrangement : you should listen to it as well , ' baby girl '.
I listened to it already, and I loved it❤️
This was sung at my wedding in 1978. Still together 45 years later.
Undeniably beautiful.
Love watching your face and emotions when you listen to these songs
One of the most beautiful songs ever written...was the 2nd song my wife & I danced to at our wedding receiption
What a great performer and reaction! Two John Denver songs I really like: I'm Sorry and Matthew.
His songs are so beautiful...
Nice to see you, as always, Mo❤.
❤🇨🇱👍
I didn't appreciate John Denver in my younger days but his songs are really beautiful, and he's a fantastic singer.
Really fantastic singer👏😊
Hi, Mo. John Denver was one of my 'secret favourite' singers/songwriters as my friends weren't fans of his music, so I was really happy to see you react to this song. RIP John 🥀
You were so funny in the bloopers section. Thanks for sharing 👍
John was a super star in the 70's. He wrote lots of great songs. Leaving on a jet plane, Starwood in Aspen and Friends With You are my favourites. Take care Morenikeji. 🤠
👏👏❤️
Mo, once again, I am totally captivated by the way you react to songs! You feel the music with such sincerity, then you provide your insight as to the song's meaningful lyrics. You are a joy to watch!
Aww you’re so kinddd🥹
I really appreciate this🙏😍❤️
This really was a gorgeous arrangement of this song. It’s quite different from the album version but the orchestral arrangement and especially the addition of the mandolin made it even better!
Greatest love song ever done.
So good to watch this with you. It always seems to me that you respond to something deep in the song, kind of to the songwriting itself. And John Denver was a really really good songwriter. Brings a tear just hearing him again. Thank you for sharing this, from your heart, as always. Keep going and bringing us so much joy and beauty. So much love for you my baby girl...❤❤❤
Thank you so much❤️
John Denver really was a good songwriter. Those were really intentional lyrics 🥹❤️
John was the number one world wide recording artist 5 years in a row. I saw him several times and his concerts were incredible
Great reaction and I think we are share your feelings. Thank you for sharing.
Its a beautiful song.
You always pick p on the lyrics and I love your face lighting up as you listen.
The laugh at the end with the bloopers and your smile just made my day❤❤
I loved your reaction.
Thank you so much☺️
Hi Mo, great to see you back again. Usual great reaction to an emotional, straight from the heart song ( my favourite of his ). Great to see some braids back, keep on smiling beautiful girl!
Thank you🙏☺️
Thanks MT! My favourite John Denver song, and one my mum requests every time we listen to music. Keep up the great work ❤️
Aww👏❤️
He was such a great storyteller.
Years since I heard this.
Aww☺️
Still gives me the chills ❤
It is a beautiful song and I loved your reaction!
💯👏🥰
I was fortunate enough to attend one of his concerts. He was the most amazing singer I have ever seen. His voice was absolutely pure. It was a long concert and at one point the band had to take a break due to union rules. During the break he sang a capella. It was amazing. 🎉 Unfortunately he and Annie divorced. The pressures of his never being home was too much for his marriage. 😢
I love his songs especially this one. He actually went to my country to sail in Viking boats. Later he was killed in an airplane crash. And he wrote "leaving on a jetplane"
You just made this old man’s night. Don’t wait so long next time. We need to see that pretty face more. Oh yeah, John Denver music is fantastic. One of my favorites when I was young. He left us way to soon.
💔💔
Haha, thank you😁🙏
Beautiful song! Hard to think a woman wouldn't fall in love with you if you sang this to her.
Love this song and your reaction, thanks for not interrupting it.
Among the most romantic lyrics ever written. Your expression hearing them for the first time is every woman hearing them for the first time. Melting ❤
I was fortunate enough to be at his live concert so many years ago. His performances totally absorbed everyone. And he was such a kind. sincere person. He stayed with his wife as long as humanly possible, in spite of the fact that there must have been millions of women who would have gladly stayed with him. no matter how often he had to travel for his concerts. This song made us know that we had someone to share our ride through life with. We felt loved.
His story is sad and gut-wrenching for me, as someone who has loved and lost but also, I was frequently told I look like John Denver when I was young. I also played guitar and loved nature. I am still alone, deeply cares and is not afraid.
You are as beautiful as this song. Some songs may be as good, but no song is more beautiful. Kind of like you. There may be some ladies as pretty, but NONE more pretty or lovely. I took joy watching your joy
My wife melted the first time I played this song. Cried in the second verse.
“Let me drown in your laughter,
let me die in your arms,
let me lay down beside you,
let me always be with you”
Bars
I recommend the version with John Denver and Placido Domingo. For me the best. Greetings from Vienna/Austria 🎼🎶🇦🇹
She will love this song!
You’re right!👏
Sorry if sound shallow but I just love how genuine you are, you seem like a lovely human being. Greetings from Sweden.
He gave his life
Love your reactions. You seem genuinely moved by music, as I am. Thanks, keep doing what you do.
Yes, those lyrics are the most powerful human-based phrases I've ever heard or read for two people in true love with each other.
One of my most favorite "beautiful" but powerful songs is "Why" by Annie Lennox, and I really think you would love it.
Well noted❤️
an amazing artist who also died to soon due to another planecrash......a lot of these singers these days could learn a lot from artists like john denver.....then again you cant learn talent.....you have it or you dont and john had lots of it.
Beautiful 🫶
❤️
How is your new place ? I was a big fan of John Denver !
Great reaction !
Gods Blessings be with you !
It’s coming along well, thanks☺️
I am a new fan too👏
Amen, thank you so much😍😊
Hi Mo, another great vid. If you are still in that slow and sentimental mood, there's another great song called ''Stay With Me Till Dawn'' by Judy Tzuke (pronounced Zook) You will love it, I promise! Make sure you get the official video.
He wrote this about his first wife while on the ski slopes in Colorado.
I sang and played this song for my gf 19 years ago. Two children and now we are split up. Music is so powerful. It is from the soul.
I hope you soon find the longing John stirred in your soul.❤
🙏❤️
I remember crying so much when I heard this song for the first time. This is one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. It made me want to be loved like this.
Edit: RIP John Denver. I know your up in heaven singing your beautiful songs.
Dan Vasc “Amazing Grace”. I think you will enjoy his version.
John Denver was a great singer and song writer. He had loads of great songs and was more a folk singer than country singer. He sounded just as good live (if not better) than he did on the studio version. He wrote this song in about 10 minutes on a ski lift after a row with his wife. He was also an environmentalist before most people knew what one was. He died far too young and is greatly missed.
A masterpiece ❤❤❤❤
Hi there I live a few countries south of you in a place called Durban , South Aftica , my name is Greg and I am a musician.
I have a song that will blow your mind especially the guitar solo. This is possibly the best guitar solo I have ever heard
The song is called Rise by the band Extreme
You mentioned earlier that you enjoyed instrumentals and I saw your reaction to Nessun Dorman by Pavarotti thus enjoy the same piece by Jeff Beck, best guitarist of all TIME many say.
Mo you have rythym. Another great singer song writer ❤
Great singer song writer 💯💯❤️
Thank youuu😊
So many perfect John Denver songs to consider but try the duet he did with Placido Domingo.Keep smiling :)
Congratulations on your channel. Keep up the good work. Never give up and don’t let the “Negative Nancys “ get to you.
Hi BBGrl! How are you getting along? It’s always good to see your videos and blogs. I hope life is treating you good
I’m thankful. Thank you so much 🙏🥰
His voice soars.. check out more
When I get to your home town, where shall I take you too eat....and what song shall I sing to you....
Haha😄
I would like to see your reaction on these 2 music sang by Michael Cretu: Moonlight Flower and Love Me.. Thanks!
Your hair looks beautiful
Frank Sinatra challenged John to write him a sad song. John wrote Frank 'Like A Sad Song". I request John singing Like A Sad Song.
"Good, job.😀.
Thank you🥰
@@MorenikejiTaiwo "You, are so very, welcome.😀.
"Sing it" baby girl.

😊
Hello Morenikeji. A lovely reaction to a beautiful song. It would be nice if you checked out Simon & Garfunkel AND Andy Williams singing Scarborough Fair/Canticle, in a video of Andy Williams' TV show of the 1960s.
Love you, very nice reviews!
Lots of love from my end. Thank youuu🥰
@@MorenikejiTaiwo You're welcome!
Who's the long haired guy playing the flute ? He was one of John's regular session players.
Hello beautiful baby girl.
First off all Love your new hair.
OMG you look more beautiful.
John Denver his real name was Henry John Deutschendorfer.
In 1997 he crashed with his plane.
When do have your new blog?
Love you very much Leon❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pilot error, he forgot to check out how much gas he had. So sad.
@@tomdowling638That's true so he got lost no orientation and he ran out of gas.
Deutschendorf...no er on end
@@paulineh4019 Sorry I miss type
🥹💔
Thanks for your kind words.
A new video would be up on my second channel soon☺️😍
Annie's Song is much better with the oboe rather than the flute. It was originally recorded with an oboe.
You need to listen to the song by Billy Joel, piano man. You willlove it
John Denver is always amazing, but your information is slightly erroneous. He and his wife were living in Asoen and had a fight. John went out skiing. He wrote the song on the chairlift going back up and went back home and played it for her. The,y stayed together for about 8 more years before they separated in the early 80s.
...and remained close up until his death.
The information I said is exactly what I read online. I’ve had a few people come at me for not doing a bit of readings at least on songs before listening to them.
So every now and then, I do check a bit of info about songs.
It said “after their first separation before they eventually got divorced eight years later.”
But my best bet is getting the information from my UA-cam Fam. So thanks for the info 👏😊
