My wife and have been many times. Staying locally at the Marina International Apartments. We try and find the guitarist who is usually on the seafront and we sit and drink at a bar near to where he is playing at the time. He is absolutely amazing. A must see if you ever visit. If anyone knows his name, please post it here so I that I might be able to find more recordings of his music. Thanks Barry for this lovely clip...

Just got back from Barcelona so that will be in a few weeks time.
I thought Torrevieja was the most dangerous city in Spain ?

No it is the most poor city along the mediteranean coast. Dangerous it is not at all. Only the fridaymarket is a magnet for pickpockets.
