As a Christian, i appreciate ur comment. Out of curiosity, I’m wondering what you’ve since learned about the compilation of ur Qs as it’s now been 2 yrs since u did comment.
When it comes to Muslims, they use four lies which you can depend on them saying. 1: You need to read it in Arabic 2: It's a weak hadith. 3: It's been abrogated. 4: You are taking it out of context. To which I always respond 1: Your scholars translated it into English, take it up with them. 2: If it is weak then why is it available to read? 3: Allah couldn't get it right the first time? 4: How hard is it to take it out of context, don't you understand the words? You just have to remember, it is only when they get cornered do they fall back on those. So count them as points when they say one of those four things because they don't have answers.?
I would respond:
1. Original words are better than translated ones, you would know if you spoke more than 2 languages
2. Weak hadiths have been labeled so, for good reasons, now why they keep them is up to the scholars (probably to keep them as archives of their work, proving that they respected the method they set forth; or to document what kind of false hadith people spread at their time)
3. Abrogated means that their application knows exceptions and are dependant on the context of the situation. Some verses need to be "completed" with other verses to have the full ruling.
4. To take somethhing out of context is easy and you know it, all you have to do is not read the full chapter, or AT LEAST the 4 verses preceding and following what you are "quoting"
But I am no scholar and God knows best.
As for liars and wordtwisters who would do anything to win an argument, muslim or not, I say shame on them, Truth does not need lying advocate, for truth LOVES scrutiny.
Islam promotes questionning, critics and inquiries. As it should, for it is the only way to prove its truthfulness.

Allah does not make things hard. no soul is tasked more than it can handle. whatever Allah commands you, it is not a burden. take for instance if the day you were born, mom told you eze use the toilet to defecate. that will be a hard thing for you to do, instead mom put diaper on you. but now that you are a strong adult like a raging bull in the prime of your youth/young life putting you in a diaper will be abnormal, at least from mom. you now handle your business in the bathroom. this is Mercy. Allah knows your limit and every commandment fits your stage, your limit, your maturity, person-hood.

There is a Pakistani-Canadian who has concluded that the 'original Quran' was usurped by the Caliphs and modified to suit their agenda of military conquests, which could only happen if the Muslim soldiers considered the opposing forces as 'enemies of Islam' rather than 'enemies of Arabs'; that way the conquests could be justified. The question is how much of the current Quran is 'revelation of Allah' and how much has been 'added or modified' by the Caliphs. Instead of belittling the Quran, the objective should be to find out the 'extras' in Quran and weed these out.

I start by asking the Almighty to forgive us all for believing in evil and not believing in the truth.. Only the Almighty can set us free from evil, anxiety, hate,envy,greed,and ignorance. The most important thing I treasure in these books is how it can make you more of a human and closer to the Almighty 🙏.More to be your neighbors friend and protector, more to respect and appreciate both religions, more to live and let live. I personally went to Saudi Arabia and most of the historic sites are being brought down not to hide evidence as Mr Smith mentioned but to stop the action of idol worshipping. That's the reason for all the demolishing. Sir Platov, Ali was the cousin of Muhammad, and after marriage to Fatimah he also became Muhammad's son-in-law, which is more correct than saying he was Muhammad's 'adopted son', though many believe the two are equivalent.

It's a theory that comes from the revisionist school and from an academic point of view is not the strongest due to its speculative nature. Many scholars discredit it out of hand entirely due to some faulty assumptions.

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time.
